Abstract

A composition of biomass material is disclosed. The composition includes: (i) a lignocellulosic material; and (ii) at least one member selected from a group comprising of potassium, sodium and chlorides, wherein said at least one member comprising not more than about 0.01% (by weight) of said composition. The composition may not include more than 10% of water.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A composition of biomass material, comprising:
 a lignocellulosic material; and   chlorides comprising not more than about 0.1% (by weight) of said composition.   
     
     
         2 . The composition of biomass material in claim  7 , wherein said composition comprises not more than 10% of water. 
     
     
         3 . The composition of claim  7 , wherein a heat value of said biomass material is between about 15,000 kJ/kg and about 20,000 kJ/kg.
