Abstract
The present invention relates to a heat-dissipating base structure and a method for manufacturing the same. The heat-dissipating base structure includes a base and at least one heat pipe. The base is made of polymeric materials. One side of the base is provided with at least one trough. The trough has an open side and a closed side. The heat pipe is fixed in the trough. One side of the heat pipe is in flush with the open side. By the inventive structure, since the base is made of polymeric materials, the weight and cost of the heat-dissipating base structure can be reduced.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A heat-dissipating base structure, including:
a base made of polymeric materials, one side of the base being provided with at least one trough, the trough having an open side and a closed side; and at least one heat pipe fixed in the trough, one side of the heat pipe being in flush with the open side.
2 . The heat-dissipating base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the polymeric materials are selected from any one of plastics, rubber and plastic compounds.
3 . The heat-dissipating base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the heat pipe and the base are in a tight fit by a machining process.
4 . The heat-dissipating base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the heat pipe further has a first side and a second side, the first side is in flush with the open side, the second side is bonded to the closed side.
5 . A method for manufacturing a heat-dissipating base structure, including steps of:
providing a base and at least one heat pipe, the base having at least one trough and made of polymeric materials; and disposing the heat pipe in the trough, and applying a force to make the heat pipe to be in flush with one side surface of the base.
6 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the polymeric materials are selected from any one of plastics, rubber and plastic compounds.
7 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the heat pipe and the base are in a tight fit by a machining process.
8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the machining process is a punching process.
9 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the trough has an open side and a closed side, the heat pipe further has a first side and a second side, the first side is in flush with the open side, the second side is bonded to the closed side.
10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the bonding is achieved by adhesive.Cited by (0)
