Abstract
A grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism to process a working piece to form a double-envelope structure includes a grinding wheel, a driving shaft, a track bracket and a holder. The grinding wheel includes a grinding edge which has a grinding zone in contact with the working piece. The driving shaft drives the grinding wheel spinning. The track bracket holds the driving shaft and is movable in a curved motion against the holder. The driving shaft is coupled with the track bracket via a middle section and driven by the curved motion to tilt against the holder and oscillate about the grinding zone of the grinding wheel as an oscillation center. Thus the invention can process the working piece at varying angles to form a worm with the double-envelope structure and improve process precision.

1 . A grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism to process a working piece to form a double-envelope structure, comprising:
a grinding wheel contained a grinding edge which includes a grinding zone in contact with the working piece, a driving shaft which drives the grinding wheel spinning and includes a fastening end connecting to the grinding wheel, a free end remote from the fastening end and a middle section between the fastening end and the free end; and a holder and a track bracket which holds the driving shaft and forms a curved motion against the holder; wherein the driving shaft is coupled with the track bracket via the middle section and driven by the curved motion to tilt against the holder and oscillate about the grinding zone as an oscillation center.

The grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the track bracket includes an indented upper curved track and an indented lower curved track opposing the upper curved track, the holder including an upper latch and a lower latch to latch respectively the upper curved track and the lower curved track.
3 . The grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism of claim 1 further including a rotary seat located at one side of the holder remote from the track bracket and hinged on the holder to swivel against the holder.
4 . The grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism of claim 2 , wherein the track bracket includes an elongate gear racked on the upper curved track, the holder including a transmission gear to engage with the gear rack.
5 . The grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism of claim 4 , wherein the transmission gear is coupled with a motor.
6 . The grinder equipped with a curved motion mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the driving shaft includes a spinning axis, the oscillation center being on the grinding zone and extended to form an oscillation axis perpendicular to the spinning axis.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
