Claims

Abstract

A method of providing an account is provided. The method includes receiving identification information associated with a user during a communication session. The method further includes communicating a request for credit information. The request includes at least a portion of the identification information. The method further includes receiving the requested credit information, and for each of a plurality of different types of accounts, determining whether to approve that type of account based at least in part on the received credit information. The method further includes communicating an indication of at least a portion of the approved types of accounts, and receiving a selection of at least one of the approved types of accounts. The method further includes opening at least one of the selected types of accounts and providing access to at least one of the opened accounts during the communication session.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method comprising:
 receiving by at least one processor from a first user a bet that a horse will finish a horse race in specified position;   receiving by the at least one processor from a second user a bet that the horse will not finish the horse race in the specified position;   matching by the at least one processor the first user's bet with the second user's bet; and   receiving by the at least one processor an outcome of the horse race, wherein funds are transferred between an account of the first user and an account of the second user based on the outcome of the horse race.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the bet from the first user comprises a bet that that a first horse will beat a second horse in the horse race, and wherein the bet from the second user comprises a bet that the first horse will not beat the second horse in the horse race. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the bet from the first user comprises a bet that that first horse will beat the second horse by at least a specified number of positions in the horse race, and wherein the bet from the second user comprises a bet that the first horse will not beat the second horse by at least the specified number of positions in the horse race.
