Two atom bridged dicarbonate compounds as internal donors in catalysts for polypropylene manufacture
Abstract
A compound suitable for use as an internal electron donor having a structure: wherein R 1 is independently at each occurrence, an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon, or substituted hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R 2 is independently at each occurrence, a hydrogen atom or aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon, or substituted hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and R3 is an aliphatic hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A compound suitable for use as an internal electron donor having a structure:
wherein R 1 is independently at each occurrence, an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon, or substituted hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R 2 is independently at each occurrence, a hydrogen atom or aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon, or substituted hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and R3 is an aliphatic hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
2 . The compound of claim 1 wherein R1 is independently at each occurrence, an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R2 is independently at each occurrence, a hydrogen atom or aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R3 is an aliphatic hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
3 . The compound of claim 1 wherein R1 is independently at each occurrence, a methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, t-butyl, or phenyl group; and R2 is independently at each occurrence, a hydrogen atom or a methyl, ethyl, or isopropyl group; and R3 is a methyl, ethyl, or isopropyl group.
4 . The compound of claim 1 wherein R1 is independently at each occurrence, an ethyl, isopropyl, t-butyl, or phenyl group; and R2 is independently at each occurrence, a hydrogen atom; and R3 is a methyl or isopropyl group.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
