Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to electronic cigarettes, and more particularly, to a container for storing the electronic cigarette. In one embodiment, the container includes a cover coupled to a base through a hinge. The hinge can provide three settings: opened, closed and middle. Within the base of the container, a number of sections can be provided. One section can enclose the hinge. At a distal end from the hinge, another section can include a portion where an electronic cigarette can be held. The section can incorporate a spring loaded mount whereby the electronic cigarette can be held firmly into place or loosely removed.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1 . An electronic cigarette container comprising:
a cover; a base coupled to the cover; a pivoting hinge coupled to the cover and the base positioned at one end for opening and closing the electronic cigarette container; and a slot positioned at a distal end within the base to hold an electronic cigarette.

2 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 1 , wherein the cover and base, when closed, forms a tight seal.

3 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 1 , wherein a length of the cover and base, when closed, is larger than a length of the electronic cigarette.

4 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 1 , wherein the base comprises the slot, a middle portion and a pivoting hinge holder.

5 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 4 , wherein the middle portion is configured to hold a traditional cigarette.

6 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 4 , wherein the middle portion is configured to hold a flame source.

7 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 4 , wherein the middle portion is configured to hold a traditional cigarette and flame source.

8 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 4 , wherein the middle portion is configured to hold at least one additional electronic cigarette.

9 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 1 , wherein the pivoting hinge comprises a segment, lever and spring.

10 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 1 , wherein the slot within the base comprises a spring loaded mount for holding and dispensing the electronic cigarette.

11 . The electronic cigarette container of claim 10 , wherein the spring loaded mount comprises a pop up position for dispensing the electronic cigarette and a pop down position for holding the electronic cigarette.

         12 . A container comprising:
a top; a base coupled to the top; and a hinge for raising and lowering the top from and to the base, wherein the base is sectioned into at least three sections, one section for securing the hinge, another section configured to hold an electronic cigarette and a middle section.

13 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the top comprises a section for securing the hinge.

14 . The container of claim 13 , wherein the hinge comprises a lever fitted into the section of the top.

15 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the hinge comprises an open setting, closed setting and a middle setting.

16 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the section configured to hold the electronic cigarette comprises a spring loaded mount for holding and dispensing the electronic cigarette.

17 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the middle section is configured to hold at least one traditional cigarette.

18 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the middle section is configured to hold another electronic cigarette.

19 . The container of claim 12 , wherein the middle section is configured to hold a flame source for lighting a traditional cigarette.

20 . A method for providing an electronic cigarette with at least one traditional cigarette comprising:
sectioning a base into at least three compartments, one compartment housing the electronic cigarette; and coupling the base to a top through a pivoting hinge, the pivoting hinge fitted into another compartment of the at least three compartments of the base, the pivoting hinge configured to place the top in an open, middle and closed position.
