Abstract
A hand tamper for tamping ballast of a track comprises a shaft tube ( 3 ) in which a shaft ( 9 ) is supported which, at a lower end ( 4 ), is equipped with an imbalance ( 11 ). At least 30% of an overall height h u , extending in the longitudinal shaft direction ( 12 ), of the imbalance ( 11 ) is arranged below the upper edge ( 6 ) of a tamping blade ( 5 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A hand tamper for tamping ballast of a track, including a drive motor for rotating a shaft which has a longitudinal shaft direction and is supported in a shaft tube and comprises an imbalance, the shaft being equipped—at a lower end spaced from the drive motor—with an imbalance, wherein a shaft tube is connected at a lower end spaced from the drive motor to a tamping blade which has an upper edge and a lower edge, with regard to the longitudinal shaft direction, the latter being spaced farther from the drive motor, wherein at least 30% of an overall height h u , extending in the longitudinal shaft direction, of the imbalance is arranged below the upper edge of the tamping blade.
2 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein the lower end of the shaft tube and the imbalance extend into a lower half of the tamping blade.
3 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein the lower end of the shaft tube ends at the lower edge of the tamping blade, and more than 50% of the overall height h u of the imbalance is arranged between the upper and lower edge of the tamping blade.
4 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein a blade plane of the tamping blade is arranged parallel to the longitudinal shaft direction.
5 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein the lower edge of the shaft tube is connected to a rear side—with regard to a tamping direction—of the tamping blade.
6 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein the lower end of the shaft tube is shaped so as to have a point which is tapered cone-like toward the lower edge of the tamping blade.
7 . The hand tamper according to claim 1 , wherein at the lower edge of the shaft tube , a stabilizing fin is provided which extends perpendicularly to the blade plane of the tamping blade and in the longitudinal shaft direction.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
