Abstract
The novel active compound combinations of a carboxamide of the general formula (I) (group 1) in which R, G, R 1 and A have the meanings given in the description and the active compound groups (2) to (23) listed in the description have very good fungicidal properties.

An active compound combination comprising (1-1) penthiopyrad, one dithiocarbamate selected from the group comprising: (7-1) mancozeb, (7-2) maneb, (7-3) metiram, (7-4) propineb, (7-5) thiram, (7-6) zineb, and (7-7) ziram, and optionally an extender, a surfactant, or a combination thereof, wherein the ratio of (1-1) penthiopyrad to the dithiocarbamate is from 1:1 to 1:150, and wherein said (1-1) penthiopyrad and dithiocarbamate are present in synergistic amounts.
19 . The active compound combination according to claim 18 , wherein the dithiocarbamate is (7-1) mancozeb.
20 . The active compound combination according to claim 19 , wherein the ratio of (1-1) penthiopyrad to (7-1) mancozeb is from 1:1 to 1:100.
21 . The active compound combination according to claim 18 , wherein the dithiocarbamate is (7-2) maneb.
22 . The active compound combination according to claim 21 , wherein the ratio of (1-1) penthiopyrad to (7-2) maneb is from 1:1 to 1:100.
23 . The active compound combination according to claim 18 , wherein the dithiocarbamate is (7-3) metiram.
24 . The active compound combination according to claim 23 , wherein the ratio of (1-1) penthiopyrad to (7-3) metiram is from 1:1 to 1:100.

A method for controlling unwanted phytopathogenic fungi, or treating seeds or transgenic plants comprising contacting said fungi, seeds, transgenic plants or their habitat with an active compound combination comprising (1-1) penthiopyrad, one dithiocarbamate selected from the group comprising (7-1) mancozeb, (7-2) maneb, (7-3) metiram, (7-4) propineb, (7-5) thiram, (7-6) zineb, and (7-7) ziram, and optionally an extender, a surfactant, or a combination thereof, wherein the ratio of (1-1) penthiopyrad to the dithiocarbamate is from 1:1 to 1:150, and wherein said (1-1) penthiopyrad and dithiocarbamate are present in synergistic amounts.
35 . The method according to claim 34 , wherein said fungi are rust disease pathogens.
36 . The method according to claim 35 , wherein said rust disease pathogens are Puccinia species.
37 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein said Puccinia species are Puccinia recondita.
38 . The method according to claim 34 , wherein said fungi are Erysiphe graminis f. sp. tritici.
39 . The method according to claim 34 , wherein said fungi are Alternaria species.
40 . The method according to claim 39 , wherein said Alternaria species are Alternaria solani.
41 . The method according to claim 34 , wherein said fungi are Sphaerotheca species.
42 . The method according to claim 41 , wherein said Sphaerotheca species are Sphaerotheca fuliginea.
43 . The method according to claim 34 , wherein said fungi are Venturia species.
44 . The method according to claim 43 , wherein said Venturia species are Venturia inaequalis.
