Abstract

Provided is a mobile terminal including a movement sensor that detects a movement of a user and outputs movement information, acquires information on a building existing at a current location or information on buildings existing in a vicinity of the current location, analyses the movement information output from the movement sensor, and detects a first behaviour pattern corresponding to the movement information from multiple first behaviour patterns obtained by classifying behaviours performed by the user over a relatively short period of time, and analyses the information on a building or buildings and the first behaviour pattern, and detects a second behaviour pattern corresponding to the information on a building or buildings and the first behaviour pattern from multiple second behaviour patterns obtained by classifying behaviours performed by the user over a relatively long period of time.

Claims

16 . A motion pattern analysis apparatus comprising:
a sensing information receiving unit configured to receive sensing information of an object, wherein the sensing information includes position information and motion information, the motion information comprising a plurality of first motion patterns obtained by a first motion pattern analyzing unit configured to classify motion performed by the object over a short period of time; a second motion pattern analyzing unit configured to analyze the position information and the plurality of first motion patterns, and detect a second motion pattern, corresponding to the position information and motion information, from a plurality of second motion patterns obtained by classifying motion performed by the object over a long period time; a motion pattern displaying unit configured to display at least one of the first and/or second motion patterns.

17 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 16 , wherein the position information comprises longitude and latitude information.

18 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 16 , comprising a geo-categorization unit configured to analyze the position information and determine whether the object is located at a home location or a workplace location.

19 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 16 , wherein the object is associated with a user, and wherein a recognition unit determines whether a user profile is available for the user.

20 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 19 , wherein the recognition unit selects a score group based on the location of the user.

21 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the recognition unit performs weighting for the selected score group based on a user profile.

22 . The motion pattern analysis apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the recognition unit performs weighting for the selected score group based on time and date information.

23 . A method of analyzing motion patterns, comprising:
receiving sensing information of an object, wherein the sensing information includes position information and motion information, the motion information comprising a plurality of first motion patterns based on motion performed by the object over a short period of time; detecting a second motion pattern by analyzing the position information, the plurality of first motion patterns, and a plurality of second motion patterns obtained by classifying motion performed by the object over a long period time; displaying at least one of the first and/or second motion patterns.

24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the position information comprises longitude and latitude information.

25 . The method of claim 23 , comprising analyzing the position information to determine whether the object is located at a home location or a workplace location.

26 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the object is associated with a user, and wherein the method further comprises determining whether a user profile is available for the user.

27 . The method of claim 26 , further comprising selecting a score group based on the location of the user.

28 . The method of claim 27 , further comprising weighting the selected score group based on a user profile.

29 . The method of claim 27 , further comprising weighting the selected score group based on time and date information.

30 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium comprising a computer program configured to instruct a computer to perform the steps comprising:
receiving sensing information of an object, wherein the sensing information includes position information and motion information, the motion information comprising a plurality of first motion patterns based on motion performed by the object over a short period of time; detecting a second motion pattern by analyzing the position information, the plurality of first motion patterns, and a plurality of second motion patterns obtained by classifying motion performed by the object over a long period time; displaying at least one of the first and/or second motion patterns.

31 . The medium of claim 30 , wherein the position information comprises longitude and latitude information.

32 . The medium of claim 30 , comprising analyzing the position information to determine whether the object is located at a home location or a workplace location.

33 . The medium of claim 30 , wherein the object is associated with a user, and wherein the method further comprises determining whether a user profile is available for the user.

34 . The medium of claim 33 , further comprising selecting a score group based on the location of the user.
