Abstract

A motion control system including at least one patient device, a server, and a workstation. The medical user uses the workstation to operate the software application to generate at least one script program, assign at least one script program to at least one associated patient user, convert each assigned script program into at least one control program, and transfer the at least one control program to the at least one patient device in the possession of the associated patient user. Each script program is associated with at least one notification sequence related to medical care of at least one patient user. Each notification sequence contains at least one instruction phrase and at least one movement. The patient device performs the at least one notification sequence related to medical care such that each associated patient user perceives the at least one instruction phrase and the at least one movement and transmits to the server verification data acknowledging perception of the performance of the at least one notification sequence by each associated patient user.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A motion control system comprising:
at least one patient device, where each patient device is in the possession of at least one patient user, and configured to operate based on at least one control program; a server operatively connected to the at least one patient device, where the server
is configured to store a database of script programs, and
comprises a software application for facilitating the generation of script programs; and
a workstation operatively connected to the server, where the workstation defines a remote interface for allowing a medical user to operate the software application; whereby the medical user uses the workstation to operate the software application to
generate at least one script program, where each script program is associated with at least one instruction phrase and at least one movement related to medical care of at least one patient user, and
 assign at least one script program to at least one associated patient user;
convert each assigned script program into at least one control program, and
transfer the at least one control program to the at least one patient device in the possession of the associated patient user; and
each associated patient user operates the patient device in the
possession of the associated user such that the patient device
performs the at least one instruction phrase and at least one movement related to medical care such that each associated patient user perceives the at least one instruction phrase and the at least one movement, and
transmits to the server verification data acknowledging perception by each associated patient user of the performance of at least one of the at least one instruction phrase and the at least one movement.

2 . A motion control system as recited in claim 1 , in which the patient user is at least one of a patient and a caregiver in the presence of the patient.

3 . A motion control system as recited in claim 1 , in which the software application allows the medical user to assemble script programs by selecting script commands from a list of at least one script command.

4 . A motion control system as recited in claim 3 , in which the list of at least one script command comprises at least one of a speak command, a recognize command, and a delay command.

5 . A motion control system as recited in claim 1 , in which the medical user generates a script program for each of a plurality of medical conditions.

6 . A motion control system as recited in claim 5 , in which the medical user assigns at least one script program to at least one associated patient user based on at least one medical condition associated with the at least one associated patient user.

7 . A motion control system as recited in claim 1 , in which the patient device:
prompts the patient user to generate a patient response; and generates the verification data based on the patient response.

8 . A motion control system as recited in claim 7 , in which the patient device prompts the patient user to generate a patient response by instructing the patient user to say a phrase.
