Method of controlling display

Abstract

An exemplary information-processing device includes: a display controller configured to display selectively in a display region of a display device a first image and a second image including the first image, in which second image a display magnification decreases or increases toward an end of the display region.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information-processing device comprising:
 a display controller configured to display selectively in a display region of a display device a first image and a second image which includes the first image, in which second image a display magnification decreases or increases toward an end of the display region.   
     
     
         2 . The information-processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display controller is further configured to display the second image including the first image in a reduced display size. 
     
     
         3 . The information-processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display controller is further configured to display the second image temporarily after the first image is displayed. 
     
     
         4 . The information-processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display controller is further configured to cause the first image to be displayed on the display device when a displaying operation for displaying the second image is not performed, and to cause the second image to be displayed on the display device when the displaying operation is performed. 
     
     
         5 . The information-processing device according to  claim 4 , further comprising a scroll controller configured, while the displaying operation is performed, to cause the second image displayed on the display device to scroll in response to a scroll operation performed by a user. 
     
     
         6 . The information-processing device according to  claim 5 , wherein the display controller is further configured to selectively display the first image and the second image, in which the display magnification increases toward an end of the display region in a direction parallel to a direction of the scrolling. 
     
     
         7 . The information-processing device according to  claim 5 , further comprising an acquisition unit configured to acquire motion information representing motion of the display device,
 wherein the scroll controller causes the second image displayed on the display device to scroll on the basis of the motion information acquired by the acquisition unit.   
     
     
         8 . The information-processing device according to  claim 7 , wherein the scroll controller is further configured to cause the second image to scroll such that the speed of scrolling of the second image is changed based on the motion information acquired by the acquisition unit. 
     
     
         9 . The information-processing device according to  claim 7 , wherein the acquisition unit is further configured to acquire motion information corresponding to a change in an attitude of the display device caused when the display device is moved. 
     
     
         10 . The information-processing device according to  claim 7 , further comprising a detection unit configured to detect that a user is holding the display device,
 wherein the scroll controller is further configured, while holding of the display device by the user is detected by the detection unit, to cause the second image displayed on the display device to scroll based on the motion information acquired by the acquisition unit.   
     
     
         11 . The information-processing device according to  claim 7 , wherein
 the display device is provided with a hardware key or a software key, and   the scroll controller is further configured to cause the second image displayed on the display device to scroll based on an operation performed on the key and the motion information acquired by the acquisition unit, such that, when an operation is performed on the key, the operation on the key is treated with a higher priority than the motion information.   
     
     
         12 . The information-processing device according to  claim 5 , wherein the display controller is further configured to generate a continuation image adjoining the first image in a direction of scrolling, and to display the second image including the first image and the continuation image. 
     
     
         13 . The information-processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display controller is further configured to cause an operation object for performing an operation relating the first image to be displayed when the first image is displayed, and to cause the operation object not to be displayed when the second image is displayed. 
     
     
         14 . A computer-readable non-transitory storage medium storing a program for causing a computer:
 to display selectively in a display region of a display device a first image and a second image including the first image, in which second image a display magnification decreases or increases toward an end of the display region.   
     
     
         15 . An image-displaying method comprising:
 selectively displaying in a display region of a display device a first image and a second image including the first image, in which second image a display magnification decreases or increases toward an end of the display region.   
     
     
         16 . A display system comprising:
 a display device provided with a display region; and   a display controller configured to display selectively in the display region of the display device a first image and a second image including the first image, in which second image a display magnification decreases or increases toward an end of the display region.
