Abstract
Methods of treating bladder cancer are disclosed. The methods include administering to a patient a therapeutically effective amount of a 4-iodo-3-nitrobenzamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

12 . A method of treating a bladder cancer comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a composition comprising 4-iodo-3-nitrobenzamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein said bladder cancer is selected from the group consisting of urothelial carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and small cell cancer.
14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein said bladder cancer is a tumor of the urothelial cells lining the bladder.
15 . The method of claim 12 , wherein said bladder cancer is of the type of cell line TUCCSUP.
16 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or a combination thereof.
17 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising radiation therapy.
