         17 . A method for debugging configurations of respective hardware processing parts of configurable hardware of a processor, the method comprising:
 for each of at least some of the configurations to be debugged, a hardware device performing the following:
 executing a respective part of a program with the respective configuration of the respective hardware processing part;
 writing debugging information from the configurable hardware into a memory;
 reading the debugging information from the memory; and
 evaluating the debugging information.
