Abstract

A mobile high-pressure cleaning device is provided with an underframe, on the upper side of which a storage section is arranged which forms a motor receptacle, into which a motor for driving a pump is inserted, wherein a holding section fixing the motor in the motor receptacle is placed onto the storage section and has a storage compartment for electric parts on its upper side. The holding section can be designed as a hollow body with a base member and a cover mounted on the base member, wherein the base member forms the storage compartment with a base wall engaging over the motor and side walls projecting upwards from it and wherein the cover is movable back and forth between a closed position and an open position and has at least one actuating member for an electric control element on its outer side.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
That which is claimed:

1 . A mobile high-pressure cleaning device with an underframe, on the upper side of which a storage section is arranged which forms a motor receptacle into which a motor is inserted for driving a pump, wherein a holding section fixing the motor in the motor receptacle is placed onto the storage section, said holding section having a storage compartment for electric parts on its upper side facing away from the motor, wherein the holding section is designed as a hollow body with a base member and a cover mounted on the base member, wherein the base member forms the storage compartment with a base wall engaging over the motor and with side walls projecting upwards from the base wall, and wherein the cover is movable back and forth between a closed position closing the storage compartment and an open position giving access to the storage compartment and has at least one actuating member for an electric control element on its outer side facing away from the storage compartment.

2 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the storage compartment extends from a first supporting surface of the storage section at least as far as a second supporting surface of the storage section, wherein the motor receptacle is arranged between the two supporting surfaces.

3 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 2 , wherein the storage compartment extends from the first supporting surface of the storage section to beyond the second supporting surface of the storage section.

4 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined claim 1 , wherein the storage compartment has in the plan view the shape of a polygon and comprises two side walls aligned parallel to the motor axis as well as two side walls aligned at right angles to the motor axis and the base wall engaging over the motor.

5 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the motor is surrounded by a ring-shaped cooling air duct extending between a motor housing of the motor, on the one hand, and the holding section as well as storage section, on the other hand.

6 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the holding section is releasably connectable to the storage section and/or the underframe.

7 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base member has supporting feet and wherein supporting foot receptacles are arranged on the storage section and the underframe, the supporting feet being insertable into said receptacles.

8 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the storage section is integrally formed on the underframe.

9 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the storage section has two double-walled supporting members, the motor receptacle being arranged between said supporting members.

10 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the underframe has a frame lower section produced from plastic and a frame upper section produced from plastic, wherein the frame upper section forms the storage section and is connected to the frame lower section in a materially joined manner.

11 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the motor axis of the motor is aligned at right angles to the direction of travel of the high-pressure cleaning device.

12 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cover of the holding section is mounted on the base member so as to be pivotable about a first pivot axis aligned parallel to the motor axis of the motor.

13 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the high-pressure cleaning device comprises a hood mounted on the underframe so as to be pivotable about a second pivot axis and has a hood opening giving access to the at least one actuating member arranged on the outer side of the cover of the holding section in a closed position of the hood.

14 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein an actuating member in the form of a movable handle for an electric switch is arranged on the outer side of the cover and wherein the cover forms a bearing element for the handle.

15 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cover defines an accessory compartment on its outer side.

16 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base member of the holding section comprises a valve holder, a metering valve being held on said holder.

17 . The mobile high-pressure cleaning device as defined in claim 16 , wherein the high-pressure cleaning device comprises a pivotable hood, wherein the hood has a hood opening giving access to an actuating member of the metering valve in a closed position of the hood.
