Abstract
Systems and methods for searching databases by sound data input are provided herein. A service provider may have a need to make their database(s) searchable through search technology. However, the service provider may not have the resources to implement such search technology. The search technology may allow for search queries using sound data input. The technology described herein provides a solution addressing the service provider's need, by giving a search technology that furnishes search results in a fast, accurate manner. In further embodiments, systems and methods to monetize those search results are also described herein.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for generating shared natural language libraries, the method comprising:
providing a development interface; receiving, via the development interface, natural language libraries for a plurality of service providers to establish a shared library, the shared library being associated with at least one topic; receiving a search query from one of the plurality of service providers; determining a topic for the search query; utilizing a shared library based upon the topic associated with the search query; processing the search query using the shared library; and providing a response to a client device.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising providing a list that includes at least a portion of the natural language libraries associated with a shared library to a developer, the natural language libraries being at least partially matched to the topic of the search query.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , further comprising receiving a selection of at least on natural language library from the list.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising storing the natural language libraries and the shared library in a database.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the shared library includes a plurality of aggregated natural language sub-libraries, each of the aggregated natural language sub-libraries comprising natural language libraries with substantially similar subject matter that are combined together.
6 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein each aggregated natural language sub-library is associated with a client application that provides a service.
7 . The method according to claim 6 , further comprising providing access to an aggregated natural language sub-library to a service provider having a client application that provides a service that is substantially similar to the service associated with the aggregated natural language sub-library.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising determining a natural language query for a requested service included in the search query, the search query comprising sound input.
9 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising receiving feedback from the client device regarding accuracy of the response.
10 . A processor that generates shared natural language libraries, comprising:
a memory for storing executable instructions; a processor for executing instructions stored in memory to:
provide a development interface;
receive, via the development interface, natural language libraries for a plurality of service providers to establish a shared library, the shared library being associated with at least one topic;
receive a search query from one of the plurality of service providers;
determine a topic for the search query;
utilize a shared library based upon the topic associated with the search query;
process the search query using the shared library; and
provide a response to a client device.
11 . The processor according to claim 10 , wherein the processor further provides a list that includes at least a portion of the natural language libraries associated with a shared library to a developer, the natural language libraries being at least partially matched to the topic of the search query.
12 . The processor according to claim 11 , wherein the processor further receives a selection of at least on natural language library from the list.
13 . The processor according to claim 10 , wherein the processor further stores the natural language libraries and the shared library in a database.
14 . The processor according to claim 10 , wherein the shared library includes a plurality of aggregated natural language sub-libraries, each of the aggregated natural language sub-libraries comprising natural language libraries with substantially similar subject matter that are combined together.
15 . The processor according to claim 14 , wherein each aggregated natural language sub-library is associated with a client application that provides a service.
16 . The method according to claim 15 , wherein the processor further provides access to an aggregated natural language sub-library to a service provider having a client application that provides a service that is substantially similar to the service associated with the aggregated natural language sub-library.
17 . The processor according to claim 10 , wherein the processor further determines a natural language query for a requested service included in the search query, the search query comprising sound input.
18 . The processor according to claim 10 , wherein the processor further receives feedback from the client device regarding accuracy of the response.
19 . A method for merging natural language libraries, the method comprising:
evaluating natural language libraries to determine a topic associated with each of the natural language libraries; selecting two or more natural language libraries that have a substantially similar topic relative to one another; comparing content of the selected natural language libraries to one another; and merging the content of each of the selected natural language libraries together into a merged natural language library if the content of the selected natural language libraries has at least one difference.
20 . A method for processing a search query, the method comprising:
receiving a sound input from a client device via a network; analyzing at least a portion of terms included in the sound input to determine a subject matter for the sound input; selecting a customized language model for fulfilling the sound input based upon the subject matter of the sound input, the customized language model being utilizable by a speech engine to translate sound input to text;
translating the sound input to text; and
providing the text to the client device via the network.
21 . The method according to claim 20 , wherein analyzing at least a portion of terms included in the sound input to determine a subject matter for the sound input comprises matching at least a portion of the sound input to a natural language library, the natural language library comprising a subject matter.Cited by (0)
