Abstract
Systems and methods for displaying job listings via a website are described. In some examples, the systems identify information associated with a viewer of a website, and selectively display job listing information based of the information associated with the viewer of the website, such as information attributed to the viewer within a social network of which the viewer is a member.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving information from a social networking site that includes the viewer as a member; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes not presenting at least one job listing based on the received information.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving viewer attribute information from a social networking site that includes the viewer as a member; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the viewer attribute information.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving education information attributed to the viewer; and
wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the education information attributed to the viewer.

wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the work experience information attributed to the viewer.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving skills information attributed to the viewer; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the skills information attributed to the viewer.
9 . A system for presenting job listings via a website, the system comprising:
a viewer module that is configured to identify a viewer of a website presenting job listings; and a display module that is configured to modify a presentation of job listings by the website based on the identified viewer.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the display module is configured to present a subset of the job listings associated with the identified viewer of the website.
11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the display module is configured to present user interface objects that facilitate a submission of information for the viewer proximate to job listings associated with the identified viewer of the website.
12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the display module is configured to present a complete set of job listings to a generic group of viewers of the website, a first set of job listings that is a first subset of the complete set of job listings to a first identified viewer of the website, and a second set of job listings that is a second, different, subset of the complete set of job listings to a second identified viewer of the website.
13 . A computer-readable storage medium whose contents, when executed by a computing system cause a website to perform a method for displaying job listings via a page presented by the website, the method comprising:
receiving information associated with a viewer of a website currently presenting two or more job listings; modifying a presentation of the two or more job listings based on the received information.
14 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings includes presenting a subset of the job listings based on the received information associated with the viewer of the website.
15 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings includes presenting user interface objects that facilitate a submission of information for the viewer proximate to the job listings based on the received information associated with the viewer of the website.
16 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving information from a social networking site that includes the viewer as a member; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes not presenting at least one job listing based on the received information.
17 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving viewer attribute information from a social networking site that includes the viewer as a member; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the viewer attribute information.
18 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving education information attributed to the viewer; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the education information attributed to the viewer.
19 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving work experience information attributed to the viewer; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the work experience information attributed to the viewer.
20 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein receiving information associated with a viewer includes receiving skills information attributed to the viewer; and wherein modifying a presentation of the job listings based on the received information includes presenting job listings having attribute information that match the skills information attributed to the viewer.Cited by (0)
