Abstract

A weight trainer with a load detection system includes a frame, a load detecting device, and a display device. The frame has a transmission device, a weight allocating device, and a stand. The transmission device is disposed on one side of the frame. The weight allocating device is connected to the transmission device and can undergo displacement in the vertical direction of the stand. The load detecting device is disposed beneath the weight allocating device. The load detecting device includes a sensor, a base, and a platform. The sensor is abuttingly disposed between the base and the platform. The display device is electrically connected to the load detecting device. Accordingly, the weight trainer with a load detection system is effective in detecting a weight change precisely, enabling a user taking fitness exercise to gain access to information thereof in real time, and quantifying the information.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A weight trainer with a load detection system, the weight trainer comprising:
a frame having a transmission device, a weight allocating device, and a stand, the transmission device being disposed on a side of the frame, and the weight allocating device being connected to the transmission device and capable of moving in a vertical direction of the stand; a load detecting device disposed beneath the weight allocating device and comprising a sensor, a base, and a platform, the sensor being abuttingly disposed between the base and the platform; and a display device electrically connected to the load detecting device.

2 . The weight trainer with a load detection system of claim 1 , wherein the load detecting device further comprises a first buffer pad and a second buffer pad, the first buffer pad being disposed between the base and the platform of the load detecting device, and the second buffer pad being disposed beneath the load detecting device.

3 . The weight trainer with a load detection system of claim 1 , wherein the sensor comprises a supporting element and a sensing element abutting against the supporting element.

4 . The weight trainer with a load detection system of claim 3 , wherein the sensing element is a pressure-gradient sensing element.

5 . The weight trainer with a load detection system of claim 1 , wherein the weight allocating device comprises a plurality of selection tabs.

6 . A detection method built in a load detection system of the weight trainer of claim 1 , wherein the detection method comprises the steps of:
a: starting a main program to allow a user to determine whether to calibrate the selection tabs, detecting a weight of all the selection tabs with the load detecting device and calculating a weight of a single said selection tab before going back to step a when the determination is affirmative, and going to step b when the determination is negative; b: determining by the main program as to whether to read sample data of the load detecting device, detecting a weight of the weight allocating device with the load detecting device and calculating quantity of the selection tabs pulled up before going back to step a, and going to step c when the determination is negative; and c: displaying the quantity of the selection tabs pulled up on the display device.

7 . A detection method for use with the weight trainer with a load detection system of claim 6 , wherein, between the step b and step c, the detection method further comprises the step of:
d: determining by the main program as to whether to update a workout count, calculating updated workout-related information and going back to step a when the determination is affirmative, and going to step c when the determination is negative.
