Abstract
A device for determining a composition of fuel in a combustion chamber of a power station is provided. The device includes a measuring device for measuring an actual concentration distribution of a substance in a combustion chamber' an analysis device for analyzing the actual concentration distribution, taking into account a combustion stochiometry; and an evaluation device for determining a composition of fuel based upon the analyzing.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for determining a composition of fuel in a combustion chamber of a power station, comprising:
a measuring device for measuring an actual concentration distribution of a substance in a combustion chamber; an analysis device for analyzing the actual concentration distribution, taking into account a combustion stochiometry; and an evaluation device for determining a composition of fuel based upon the analyzing.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the analysis device is coupled via a data bus to the evaluation device, an operating device, and instrumentation equipment.
3 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the evaluation device includes an optimization device.
4 . The device according to claim 3 , wherein, via the operating device, the actual concentration distributions and temperature distributions are used such that the optimization device determines a quantitative composition of the fuel currently burning in a combustion chamber.
5 . The device according to claim 4 , wherein the quantitative composition of the fuel is determined in order to optimize flames burning in the combustion chamber in respect of a low emission of NOx (oxides of nitrogen).
6 . The device as claimed in claim 3 ,
wherein the combustion chamber comprises two measurement planes, wherein for each measurement plane the actual concentration distribution is measured.
7 . The device as claimed in claim 6 ,
wherein each measurement plane comprises measuring instruments, wherein the measuring instruments are connected to the analysis device, wherein a temperature distribution is measured in each measurement plane using the measuring instruments and the analysis device, wherein the temperature distributions and the actual concentration distributions are transmitted to the optimization device which is configured to determine the composition of the fuel burning in the combustion chamber.Cited by (0)
