Abstract
The present invention sets out a static modular exercise device having several interchangeable configurations. Varying surface shapes are presented to a user. Shock absorbing elements cushion the reactive force experienced by a user. Elastic bands attach to the device for additional exercising movements.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . a modular exercise platform, comprising:
an arch platform having a convex top side and a bottom side, said bottom side having a protruding male key portion, a main platform, said main platform having an upper side and a lower side, said upper side having at least three surfaces, at least one of said surfaces being depressed with respect to the other surfaces and being shaped to mate with said arch platform key portion, said lower side being substantially flat, said lower side having at least one shock absorber attachment point, at least one resilient shock absorber, said bottom side of said arch platform being fittable against said upper side of said main platform, at least one resilient shock absorber being fitted to said main platform lower side shock absorber attachment point, wherein upon application of a first force to said convex top side, said shock absorber buffers and spreads over a time interval, longer then would be the case absent said shock absorber, a reactive force acting to oppose said first force.
2 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 1 , said lower side of said main platform having four shock absorber attachment points disposed at a first end, and four shock absorber attachment points disposed at a second end, and eight shock absorbers attached to said shock absorber attachment points.
3 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 1 , further comprising a top arch platform ribbed mat being attached over said convex top side.
4 . A modular exercise platform, comprising:
an arch platform having a convex top side and a bottom side, said bottom side having a protruding male key portion, a main platform, said main platform having an upper side and a lower side, said upper side having at least three surfaces, at least one of said surfaces being depressed with respect to the other surfaces, and being shaped to mate with said arch platform key portion, said lower side being substantially flat and having a riser receiving portion and at least one shock absorber attachment point at a first end and a second end, said bottom side of said arched platform being fittable against said upper side of said main platform, at least two riser elements, said riser elements each having a riser receiving portion, and at least one shock absorber attachment point on their bottom surfaces, said riser elements each having a main platform receiving portion, at least one resilient shock absorber receiving point and a riser receiving portion on their top surfaces, one of said riser elements being disposed at said first end and the second of said riser elements being disposed at said second end of said lower side of said main platform, and at least one resilient shock absorber being fitted to said riser element shock absorber attachment points, wherein upon application of a first force to said convex top side said shock absorbers buffer and spread over a time interval, longer then would be the case absent said shock absorber, a reactive force acting to oppose said first force.
5 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 4 , further comprising a plurality of riser elements stackable between said main platform and said riser element having at least one resilient shock absorber.
6 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 4 , further comprising at least one resilient shock absorber fitted between said lower side of said main platform and said risers.
7 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 5 , further comprising at least one resilient shock absorber fitted between each of said stackable risers.
8 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 7 , further comprising at least four resilient shock absorbers fitted between said main platform and said risers, and at least four resilient shock absorbers fitted between each of said risers.
9 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 4 , further comprising a top arch platform ribbed mat being attached over said convex top side.
10 . A modular exercise platform, comprising:
a main platform, said main platform having a first side and a second side, said first side having at least three surfaces, a first surface being depressed with respect to the second and third surfaces, said first side having riser receiving portions disposed in said second and third surfaces.
11 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 10 , further comprising:
at least two riser elements, said riser elements each having a top surface and a bottom surface, said top surface having a main platform receiving portion and at least one resilient shock absorber receiving portion, said bottom surface having at least one resilient shock absorber receiving portion, said riser elements attached to said main platform at a first end and at a second end, at least one resilient shock absorber attached between said main platform and each of said riser elements, and at least one resilient shock absorber attached to said bottom surface of each of said risers.
12 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 11 , further comprising:
a plurality of riser elements stacked upon each other, each riser element having at least one shock absorber element disposed between each of said stacked riser elements.
13 . A modular exercise platform, comprising:
an arch platform having a convex top side and a bottom side, a first end and a second end, said bottom side having a protruding male key portion, an apex exercise stretch band attachment portion at an apex of said convex top side, and an endpoint exercise stretch band attachment portion disposed at each of said first end and said second end, a main platform, said main platform having an upper side and a lower side, said upper side having at least three surfaces, at least one of said surfaces being depressed with respect to the other surfaces, and being shaped to mate with said arch platform key portion, said lower side being substantially flat, having a riser receiving portion, at least one resilient shock absorber attachment point, and a first end and a second end.
14 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 13 , further comprising an exercise stretch band removably attached to said apex exercise stretch band attachment portion.
15 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 13 , further comprising an exercise stretch band removably attached to each of said endpoint exercise stretch band attachment portions.
16 . A modular exercise platform according to claim 14 , further comprising:
at least one riser having a top surface and a bottom surface and being attached to said main platform at each of said riser receiving portions, at least one resilient shock absorber disposed between each of said risers and said main platform, and at least one resilient shock absorber disposed at a bottom surface of each of said risers.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
