Vacuum Cleaner Dust Container and a Vacuum Cleaner

Abstract

Vacuum cleaner dust container and a vacuum cleaner The present application is directed to a vacuum cleaner dust container ( 1 ) and vacuum cleaner comprising such a dust container ( 1 ). The dust container ( 1 ) comprises a base body ( 2 ) accommodating a dust collecting chamber adapted to be coupled to a cyclonic dust separation unit, and comprising a lid ( 8 ) adapted to close a dust discharge opening ( 9 ) of the dust collecting chamber, and further comprising an actuating mechanism ( 12 ) coupled between the lid ( 8 ) and base body ( 2 ) and adapted for controlling opening and/or closing movements of the lid ( 8 ).

1 . A vacuum cleaner dust container comprising:
 a base body accommodating a dust collecting chamber adapted to be coupled to a cyclonic dust separation unit of a vacuum cleaner,   a lid adapted to close a discharge opening of the dust collecting chamber, and   an actuating mechanism coupled between the lid and base body and adapted for controlling at least one of the set consisting of opening movements of the lid and closing movements of the lid.   
     
     
         2 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 1 , wherein a dust inlet opening of the dust collecting chamber is provided at a top side of the dust collecting chamber and the discharge opening and lid are provided at a bottom side of the dust collecting chamber. 
     
     
         3 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 2 , wherein the lid is hingedly coupled to a bottom edge of the dust collecting chamber via at least one hinge-joint. 
     
     
         4 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 1 , wherein the actuating mechanism is at least one of the set consisting of hingedly connected to the lid and slidably connected to the lid and is at least one of the set consisting of movably connected to the base body and hingedly connected to the base body. 
     
     
         5 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 1 , wherein the actuating mechanism comprises a lever mechanism having a lever which is coupled at a first end to the lid and coupled at a remote second end to an outer section of the base body. 
     
     
         6 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 5 , wherein the lever is L-shaped and configured so that when the lid is in a closed position, the lever passes around an edge of the vacuum cleaner dust container, to which edge the lid is pivotably coupled. 
     
     
         7 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 1 , wherein the actuating mechanism comprises a locking unit adapted to lock the actuating mechanism in at least one of the set consisting of an open position and a closed position of the lid. 
     
     
         8 . A vacuum cleaner dust container according to  claim 1 , wherein the actuating mechanism is adapted to exert, in a closed position of the lid, a pressing force on the lid to tightly close the dust collecting chamber. 
     
     
         9 . A vacuum cleaner, comprising:
 at least one cyclonic dust separation unit, and   a vacuum cleaner dust container comprising
 a base body accommodating a dust collecting chamber adapted to be coupled to the at least one cyclonic dust separation unit, 
 a lid adapted to close a discharge opening of the dust collecting chamber, and 
 an actuating mechanism coupled between the lid and the base body and adapted for controlling at least one of the set consisting of opening movements of the lid and closing movements of the lid, 
   wherein a dust outlet of the at least one cyclonic dust separation unit is coupled to a dust inlet of the vacuum cleaner dust container.   
     
     
         10 . A vacuum cleaner according to  claim 9 , wherein the vacuum cleaner dust container is arranged and mounted at a front side of the vacuum cleaner.
