Claims

Abstract

Establishing trust to conduct direct, secure electronic transactions between a user and a service provider includes establishing trust between a wallet service center and an electronic traction facility, a user of the electronic transaction facility, and a service provider. Conducting the direct secure electronic transactions involves the wallet service center providing representations of individual trust established between the wallet service center and each of the user and the service provider to the service provider and user respectively.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method comprising:
 establishing trust between a wallet service center and an electronic transaction facility deployed on a user's mobile phone comprising registering the electronic transaction facility with the wallet service center through a registration process that includes the wallet service center certifying security keys generated by the electronic transaction facility;   establishing trust between the wallet service center and the user via the trusted electronic transaction facility comprising receiving a confirmation of a secure user access of the electronic transaction facility from the user via the registered electronic transaction facility;   establishing trust between the wallet service center and a service provider comprising transmitting security certificates between the wallet service center and the service provider, and installing the security certificates as trusted SSL/HTTPS credentials; and   in response to the user opting to avail a service from a service provider, dynamically establishing trust to conduct secure transactions directly between the trusted electronic transaction facility and the service provider by the wallet service center providing a representation of the established trust between the wallet service center and the electronic transaction facility and between the user and the wallet service center to the service provider, and providing a representation of the established trust between the wallet service center and the service provider to the electronic transaction facility.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein transmitting the security certificates is in response to the wallet service center receiving a trust request from a service provider. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein if the user opts to avail a service from a service provider with which the wallet service center has not yet established trust, performing the step of establishing trust between the wallet service center and the service provider in response to the user opting to avail the service from the service provider. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein transmitting the security certificate includes transmitting the certificate to the service provider that offers the service that the user has opted to avail. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein establishing trust between the wallet service center and the service provider is in response to a request by the service provider to conduct transactions with at least one trusted user. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a transaction conducted directly between the trusted electronic transaction facility and the service provider is securable with a three-dimensional authentication. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the three-dimensional authentication includes applying a separate security protocol for each of the user, the electronic transaction facility, and a transaction domain of the service provider.
