Abstract
The invention is directed to systems and Methods for immersive advertising on a wide area network, such as the Internet or World Wide Web. Immersive advertisements are customized presentations developed and imbedded within the body of web content. They can take the form of non-static images imbedded within a configurable primary image model or they can be a non-configurable, highly stylized, and animated component imbedded within the content of a web page.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of operating a computer to present an advertising sequence, comprising:
receiving from a user a selection of an image from an image database; based on the selected image, creating a three dimensional presentation of a product that is based on said image, said three dimensional presentation being an interactive multimedia three dimensional presentation based on the image; receiving a modification to the presentation by the user; modifying the presentation sent to the user based on said modifying, to change actions in the advertising sequence based on the modifying by the user.
2 . The method as in claim 1 , wherein the image is a computer generated image, and wherein the presentation includes video images that are not computer generated images.
3 . The method as in claim 1 , wherein said modifying the presentation comprises changing a product in the presentation from a first product associated with the image, to a second product.
4 . The method as in claim 1 , further comprising, storing and the computer, at least one 3-D model associated with each of the images from the image database, and creating the presentation using the at least one 3-D model when the image is selected.
5 . The method as in claim 1 , wherein the product has at least one movable part, and said modifying comprises moving the part by hinging on at least one specified hinge point.
6 . The method as in claim 1 , further comprising receiving a user request to modify a background to the presentation, and modifying the background based on said user request.
7 . The method as in claim 1 , wherein the modifying comprises modifying an angle of the operation of the product in the multimedia presentation said modifying comprising causing the product to be seen operating at a first angle at a first time, and causing the product to be seen operating at a second angle at a second time.
8 . The method as in claim 1 , wherein the presentation includes virtual actors in the presentation, and further comprising receiving commands from a user that allow modifying actions of the virtual actors.
9 . A method of operating a computer to present an advertising sequence, comprising:
storing an image database which includes a number of images of products, and includes three-dimensional presentations of the products associated with the images; producing an interactive three-dimensional presentation of a product based on a selection of an image, where the image is a computer-generated image, and the three-dimensional presentation is a video image of an actual product that is not a computer-generated image; controlling the three-dimensional presentation based on commands received, to change interactively the three-dimensional presentation based on said commands.
10 . The method as in claim 9 , wherein said controlling the presentation comprises changing a product in the presentation from a first product associated with the image, to a second product.
11 . The method as in claim 9 , further comprising, storing in the computer, at least one 3-D model associated with each of the images from the image database, and creating the presentation using the at least one 3-D model when the image is selected.
12 . The method as in claim 9 , wherein the product has at least one movable part, and said controlling comprises moving the part by hinging on at least one specified hinge point.
13 . The method as in claim 9 , further comprising receiving a user request to modify a background to the presentation, and modifying the background based on said user request.
14 . The method as in claim 9 , wherein the controlling comprises modifying an angle of the operation of the product in the multimedia presentation said modifying comprising causing the product to be seen operating at a first angle at a first time, and causing the product to be seen operating at a second angle at a second time.
15 . The method as in claim 14 , wherein the product is a medical operation product, and the angle is an angle of operation of the medical operation product.
16 . The method as in claim 9 , wherein the presentation includes virtual actors in the presentation, and further comprising receiving commands from a user that allow modifying actions of the virtual actors.
17 . A method of operating a computer to present an advertising sequence, comprising:
receiving from a user a selection of an image from an image database; based on the selected image, creating a three dimensional presentation of a product that is based on said image, said three dimensional presentation being an interactive multimedia three dimensional presentation based on the image that has virtual actors in the presentation, and also has said three-dimensional presentation of the product in the presentation; receiving commands that allow modifying actions of the product in the presentation and that allow modifying actions of the virtual actors in the presentation, and modifying both the product in the virtual actors based on said commands.
18 . The method as in claim 17 , wherein said modifying the presentation comprises changing a product in the presentation from a first product associated with the image, to a second product.
19 . The method as in claim 17 , further comprising, storing in the computer, at least one 3-D model associated with each of the images from the image database, and said creating the representation comprises creating the presentation using the at least one 3-D model when the image is selected.
20 . The method as in claim 17 , wherein the product has at least one movable part, and said modifying comprises moving the part by hinging on at least one specified hinge point.
21 . The method as in claim 17 , further comprising receiving a user request to modify a background to the presentation, and modifying the background based on said user request.
22 . The method as in claim 17 , wherein the modifying includes modifying an angle of the operation of the product in the multimedia presentation said modifying comprising causing the product to be seen operating at a first angle at a first time, and causing the product to be seen operating at a second angle at a second time.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
