Abstract
A simulation framework for evaluating revenue that may use a pricing engine that runs at least one pricing algorithm with particular configurations and under particular model market conditions to provide revenue projections.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A system stored in a non-transitory medium, comprising:
a supply-forecast module configured to obtain an eligible set of impressions that can be served for a set of queries; a price response module configured to estimate a demand for the set of queries with respect to historical data; and an admission control module configured to book the set of queries according to the estimated demand.
22 . The system of claim 21 , further comprising:
a price engine (PE) configured to compute a PE estimated price for the set of queries, wherein the price response module is further configured to generate a revenue evaluation with respect to the PE estimated price and the historical data.
23 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the computation of the PE estimated price is based on a target STR.
24 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the admission control module is further configured to add the set of queries to a list of previously booked queries, resulting in an updated list, and
the system further comprises an optimizer module configured to generate an allocation plan for impressions according to the updated list.
25 . The system of claim 24 , wherein the admission control module is further configured to obtain an updated sell-through-rate (STR) for STR queries according to the allocation plan for impressions.
26 . The system of claim 25 , wherein the price response module is further configured to generate a revenue evaluation with respect to the updated STR.
27 . The system of claim 25 , wherein the PE is further configured to use information from the updated STR as a feedback to the PE for when the PE computes a PE estimated price for another set of queries.
28 . A non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising:
instructions executable by a processor to obtain an eligible set of impressions that can be served for a set of queries; instructions executable by a processor to estimate a demand for the set of queries with respect to historical data; and instructions executable by a processor to book the set of queries according to the estimated demand.
29 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 28 , wherein the medium further includes: instructions executable by a processor to generate a revenue evaluation with respect to the estimated demand.
30 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 28 , wherein the medium further includes:
instructions executable by a processor to add the set of queries to a list of previously booked queries resulting in an updated list; and instructions executable by a processor to generate an allocation plan for impressions according to the updated list.
31 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 28 , wherein the medium further includes:
instructions executable by a processor to generate impressions; and instructions executable by a processor to obtain an updated sell-through-rate (STR) for STR queries with respect to the generated impressions and an allocation plan for the generated impressions.
32 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 31 , wherein the medium further includes:
instructions executable by a processor to generate a revenue evaluation with respect to a price engine (PE) estimated price and the updated STR.
33 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 31 , wherein the medium further includes:
instructions executable by a processor to use information from the updated STR queries as a feedback to a price engine (PE) for when the PE computes a PE estimated price for another set of queries.
34 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 33 , wherein the computation of the PE estimated price is based on a target STR.
35 . A method, comprising:
selecting, via a processor, a set of impressions according to a set of queries; determining, via a processor, a demand for the set of queries according to historical data; and booking, via a processor, the set of queries according to the demand.
36 . The method of claim 35 , further comprising: determining, via a processor, a price for the set of queries according to the demand.
37 . The method of claim 35 , further comprising:
adding, via a processor, a set of recently booked queries to a list of previously booked queries, resulting in an updated list; and determining, via a processor, an allocation plan for the set of impressions according to the updated list.
38 . The method of claim 35 , further comprising: identifying, via a processor, a sell-through-rate (STR) for the set of queries.
39 . The method of claim 38 , further comprising: determining, via a processor, a price for another set of queries according to the STR for the set of queries.
40 . The method of claim 38 , further comprising: determining, via a processor, a price for the set of queries according to the STR for the set of queries.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
