Abstract

A system and method for compiling video segments including defining an event; providing a multi-user video aggregation interface; receiving a plurality of video segments through the aggregation interface; determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of videos; and assembling a multi-channel video of event, the multi-channel video file configured with at least two video segments that have at least partially overlapping event-synchronized alignment.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method comprising:
collecting a plurality of video segments from a plurality of different event participant sources; determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments, wherein determining event-synchronized alignment comprises aligning the plurality of videos according to a unified signal of the plurality of video segments along an extracted timeline; identifying related video segments with overlapping content from event-synchronized alignment; automatically initiating video arrangement in response to a threshold number of related video segments with overlapping content; and arranging video segments with overlapping content of the event into a continuous video stream.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a search query; and wherein determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments comprises selecting videos with metadata related to the search input for alignment prior to aligning the plurality of videos.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying related video segments with overlapping content from event-synchronized alignment of video segments and according to number of social promotions and pictures of the event.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein collecting a plurality of video segments comprises collecting a plurality of video segments from at least two disparate sources.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising automatically generating participant directions according to overlapping content; and further comprising transmitting participant directions through an event messaging system.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein arranging video segments with overlapping content of the event into a continuous video stream further comprises arranging non-overlapping video segments within the continuous video stream.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the unified signal is an audio signal of the plurality of video segments.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of videos further comprises characterizing an identifier of each video segment of the plurality of video segments; correlating the video segment identifiers; and aligning video segments for peak correlation of the video segment identifiers.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein a characterized identifier is a hash token extracted from the spectrogram peaks of the audio signal.

         10 . A method comprising:
collecting a plurality of video segments from a plurality of different participant sources; defining an event of the plurality of video segments; enrolling at least one user application to the event; determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments, wherein determining event-synchronized alignment comprises aligning the plurality of videos according to a unified signal of the plurality of video segments along an extracted timeline; identifying related video segments with overlapping content according to event synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments; automatically generating participant directions according to overlapping content; and transmitting participant directions to the at least one user application.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein automatically generating participant directions comprises generating participant directions according to a count of overlapping content events.

12 . The method of claim 10 , wherein identifying related video segments with overlapping content further comprises identifying related video segments with overlapping content according to event synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments and number of social promotions and pictures of the event.

13 . The method of claim 10 , wherein automatically generating participant directions comprises prompting the addition of at least one video segment to an event resource.

14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein automatically generating participant directions comprises generating participant directions for a location and time of a video segment capture.

15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein automatically generating participant directions comprises generating participant directions according to event timing overlapping content and participant location relative to locations of overlapping content.

16 . The method of claim 10 , wherein identifying related video segments with overlapping content further comprises identifying related video segments with overlapping content according to event synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments and number of social promotions and pictures of the event.

17 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising arranging video segments with overlapping content of the event into a continuous video stream.

         18 . A method comprising:
collecting a plurality of video segments from a plurality of participant sources; determining event-synchronized alignment of the plurality of video segments, wherein determining event-synchronized alignment comprises aligning the plurality of videos according to a unified signal of the plurality of video segments along an extracted timeline; identifying related video segments with overlapping content from event-synchronized alignment; and defining an event identifier of the related video segments.

19 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising arranging video segments with overlapping content of the event into a continuous video stream.

20 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising automatically generating participant directions according to overlapping content; and further comprising transmitting participant directions through an event messaging system.
