. The method of claim 1 , wherein said subject is a human.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said antagonist is a monoclonal antibody or fragment thereof.
. The method of claim 3 , wherein said monoclonal antibody is an antibody according claim 1 or fragment thereof.
. A method of alleviating a symptom of an autoimmune disease or inflammatory disorder, the method comprising administering an antibody according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof in an amount sufficient to alleviate the symptom of the autoimmune disease or inflammatory disorder in the subject.
. The method of claim 5 , wherein said subject is a human.
. A method of alleviating a symptom of an arthritic condition, the method comprising administering an antibody according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof in an amount sufficient to alleviate the symptom of the arthritic condition in the subject.
. The method of claim 7 , wherein said subject is a human.
. The method of claim 7 , wherein the arthritic condition is an autoimmune arthritic condition.
