Abstract

An enterprise geospatial intelligence service oriented architecture (EGI-SOA) provides a consumer with one or more tailored products in response to either a dynamic request or a standing request by the consumer.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method comprising the following steps:
 (a) one or more first computers autonomously determining if one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products are requested tailored geospatial intelligence products that meet criteria of a standing request by a consumer; and   (b) one or more second computers pushing to the consumer the one or more requested tailored geospatial intelligence products,   wherein each of the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products is tailored based on contexts for each respective tailored geospatial intelligence product, and   wherein the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products are tailored by a tailoring process comprising the following steps:   (c) the one or more first computers filtering an event cloud to match one or more events in the event cloud to an event pattern;   (d) the one or more first computers extracting contexts for each event matched in step (c); and   (e) the one or more first computers translating a workflow with the contexts into an executable process.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the method comprises the following step:
 (f) the one or more first computers producing the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products based on one or more pieces of geospatial data received by the one or more first computers.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2  wherein step (a) is conducted in response to step (f) being conducted. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein steps (a) and (b) are conducted by the same computer. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following steps:
 (f) the one or more first computers generating a first descriptive intermediate file based on a workflow to be used in forming the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products;   (g) the one or more first computers generating a second descriptive intermediate file based on the services associated with the workflow that will be used to form one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products;   (h) the one or more first computers generating a third descriptive intermediate file based on how the services interact with each other; and   (i) the one or more first computers generating a fourth descriptive intermediate file based on the support data for the workflow.   
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (j) the one or more first computers forming an ExecML file based on the first, second, third and fourth descriptive files.   
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (k) the one or more first computers executing the ExecML job in a computing cloud to form the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products.   
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (l) the one or more first computers determining which of one or more processors in the computing cloud will be used to form the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein step (b) comprises displaying the one or more geospatial intelligence products to the consumer on a visual display device. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein step (b) comprises delivering the one or more geospatial intelligence products to a data storage medium. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the tailoring process comprises orthorectifying data to form at least one of the one or more geospatial intelligence products. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the tailoring process comprises using a Bayesian inference to form at least one of the one or more geospatial intelligence products. 
     
     
         13 . A machine readable medium having stored thereon sequences of instructions, which when executed by one or more processors, cause one or more electronic devices to perform a set of operations comprising the following steps:
 (a) determining if one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products are requested tailored geospatial intelligence products that meet criteria of a standing request by a consumer; and   (b) pushing to the consumer the one or more requested tailored geospatial intelligence products, products that meet the criteria of the standing request   wherein each of the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products is tailored based on contexts for each respective tailored geospatial intelligence product, and   wherein the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products are tailored by a tailoring process comprising the following steps:   (c) filtering an event cloud to match one or more events in the event cloud to an event pattern;   (d) extracting contexts for each event matched in step (c); and   (e) translating a workflow with the contexts into an executable process.   
     
     
         14 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein the set of operations comprises the following step:
 (f) the one or more first computers producing the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products based on one or more pieces of geospatial data received by the one or more first computers.   
     
     
         15 . The machine readable medium of  claim 14 , wherein step (a) is conducted in response to step (f) being conducted. 
     
     
         16 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein steps (a) and (b) are conducted by the same computer. 
     
     
         17 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following steps:
 (f) generating a first descriptive intermediate file based on a workflow to be used in forming the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products;   (g) generating a second descriptive intermediate file based on the services associated with the workflow that will be used to form one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products;   (h) generating a third descriptive intermediate file based on how the services interact with each other; and   (i) generating a fourth descriptive intermediate file based on the support data for the workflow.   
     
     
         18 . The machine readable medium of  claim 17 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (j) forming an ExecML file based on the first, second, third and fourth descriptive files.   
     
     
         19 . The machine readable medium of  claim 18 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (k) executing the ExecML job in a computing cloud to form the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products.   
     
     
         20 . The machine readable medium of  claim 19 , wherein the tailoring process further comprises the following step:
 (l) determining which of one or more processors in the computing cloud will be used to form the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products.   
     
     
         21 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein step (b) comprises displaying the one or more geospatial intelligence products to the consumer on a visual display device. 
     
     
         22 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein step (b) comprises delivering the one or more geospatial intelligence products to a data storage medium. 
     
     
         23 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein the tailoring process comprises orthorectifying data to form at least one of the one or more geospatial intelligence products. 
     
     
         24 . The machine readable medium of  claim 13 , wherein the tailoring process comprises using a Bayesian inference to form at least one of the one or more geospatial intelligence products. 
     
     
         25 . An apparatus comprising:
 one or more first computers for determining if one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products are requested tailored geospatial intelligence products that meet criteria of a standing request by a consumer; and   one or more second computers for pushing to the consumer the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products that meet the criteria of the standing request,   wherein the one or more first computers are configured for tailoring each of the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products based on contexts for each respective tailored geospatial intelligence product,   wherein the one or more first computers are configured for filtering an event cloud to match one or more events in the event cloud to an event pattern;   wherein the one or more first computers are configured for extracting contexts for each event matched to the event pattern; and   wherein the one or more first computers are configured for translating a workflow with the contexts into an executable process.   
     
     
         26 . The apparatus of  claim 25 , wherein the one or more first computers produce the one or more tailored geospatial intelligence products based on one or more pieces of geospatial data received by the one or more first computers.
