Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a mobile device comprising a core phone with a detachable primary device. The core phone transfers an incoming call alert to the detached primary device by synchronizing the display frame buffer of the core phone with the display frame buffer associated with the detached primary device. A plurality of remote secondary devices can be paired with the core phone on request by said secondary devices to transfer an incoming call alert to said plurality of secondary devices and establish a connection after authorization with said detached primary device. The detachable primary device is usable by pairing with the core phone when the core phone is not used directly but remains in the vicinity. Important data in the primary device is synchronized with the core phone to avoid data loss when the primary device is accidentally dropped or lost or damaged.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method for registering a detachable primary device with a core phone, the method comprising;
 detaching said primary device from said core phone;   sending an authorization request from said core phone to said primary device;   receiving response to said authorization request from said primary device by said core phone;
       establishing a connection with said primary device where by data can be transferred, and
 synchronizing a display buffer of said core phone with the display buffer of the primary device.

         2 . A method for registering a plurality of remote secondary devices with a core phone, comprising;
 receiving an authorization request sent to said core phone from users of said plurality of secondary devices; forwarding said authorization request from core phone to said registered primary device; receiving an acceptance of or a rejection to said authorization request from primary device to the core phone; and establishing or rejecting a connection to said plurality of secondary devices for receiving data from a display frame buffer from said core phone based on the acceptance or rejection from said primary device.

         3 . A method for establishing a conference call between a primary device and a plurality of secondary devices, comprising;
 receiving an incoming call from said core phone; sending an incoming call alert to said primary device and said plurality of secondary devices; accepting the call for the primary device, and thereby establishing a call between said primary device and said core phone; receiving, by at least one of the one or more processors, a call acceptance request from said plurality of secondary devices by said core phone; sending, by at least one of the one or more processors, the call request from said plurality of secondary devices to said primary device; and granting, by at least one of the one or more processors, the call request from said plurality of secondary devices, and establishing a connection over a common channel thereby.

         4 . A method for establishing a multiuser application between a primary device and a plurality of secondary devices, comprising;
 receiving a multiuser application event from a registered primary device by a core phone; executing a multiuser application to thereby send a display frame buffer associated with said primary device; sending a participation request from said primary device to a plurality of secondary devices through said core phone; receiving a response to said participation request from said plurality of secondary devices by registering with core phone; and updating a display frame buffer associated with plurality of registered secondary devices by said core phone.
