Abstract

Methods and mobile devices for providing various eco-friendly User Interfaces (UIs) are provided. In one method for providing the eco-friendly UI, the mobile device measures a recharging amount or time, displays the recharging amount or time, and determines whether the recharging amount or time is more than a predefined critical amount or time. If the recharging amount or time is more than the critical amount or time, the mobile device is transitioned into an executable state of a specific application. This may give a user motivation to use a solar charge system and thereby reduce battery consumption of the mobile device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method for providing a user interface of a mobile device, the method comprising:
 executing a plurality of applications in a multi-tasking manner; and displaying a multi-tasking application menu screen including at least one of a battery consumption of each of the executed applications and an image corresponding to the battery consumption of each of the executed applications.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 displaying a graphic corresponding to the battery consumption of each of the executed applications, wherein the graphic is at least one of changing different colors and animation images with different speeds.

         3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 displaying an icon for quitting each or all of the executed applications and an icon for an entry into a battery check menu.

         4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
 displaying, when the icon for an entry into the battery check menu is selected, a battery check menu screen including a list of executable applications and the battery consumption of each of the executable applications.

         5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the battery check menu screen comprises at least one application quit icon for the currently executed applications among the executable applications.

         6 . A method for providing a user interface of a mobile device, the method comprising:
 displaying the user interface on a displayed screen, wherein the user interface includes at least one icon; transitioning a mode of the mobile device from a normal mode to an eco mode, the eco mode being the mode of the mobile device for reducing a power consumption; and changing at least one of:
 a color of the displayed screen to be a low-power consumption color;
 a brightness of the displayed screen to be lower;
 a number of the at least one icon on the displayed screen to be smaller;
 a shape of the at least one icon;
 a number of executed applications; and
 a number of a running module.

         7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein changing the color of the displayed screen to be the low-power consumption color comprises increasing a black portion of the displayed screen.

         8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein changing the shape of the at least one icon comprises changing the shape of the at least one icon from a full image to outlined image.

         9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein changing the number of the executed applications comprises quitting at least one higher power-consuming application or at least one predefined application.

         10 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:
 displaying a specific icon for transitioning the mode of the mobile device from the normal mode to the eco mode.

         11 . A mobile device comprising:
 a display unit configured to display a multi-tasking application; and a control unit configured to execute a plurality of applications in a multi-tasking manner and to display the multi-tasking application menu screen including at least one of a battery consumption of each of the executed applications and an image corresponding to the battery consumption of each of the executed applications.

         12 . The mobile device of claim 11 , wherein the control unit is further configured to display a graphic corresponding to the battery consumption of each of the executed applications, wherein the graphic is at least one of changing different colors or animation images with different speeds.

         13 . The mobile device of claim 11 , wherein the control unit is further configured to the display unit to display an icon for quitting each or all of the executed applications and an icon for an entry into a battery check menu.

         14 . The mobile device of claim 13 , wherein the control unit is further configured to the display unit to display, when the icon for an entry into the battery check menu is selected, a battery check menu screen including a list of executable applications and the battery consumption of each of the executable applications.

         15 . The mobile device of claim 13 , wherein the battery check menu screen comprises at least one application quit icon for the currently executed applications among the executable applications.

         16 . A mobile device comprising:
 a display unit; and a control unit configured to display the user interface on a displayed screen, wherein the user interface includes at least one icon, transition a mode of the mobile device from a normal mode to an eco mode, the eco mode being the mode of the mobile device for reducing a power consumption, and to change at least one of a color of the displayed screen to be a low-power consumption color, a brightness of the displayed screen to be lower, a number of the at least one icon on the displayed screen to be smaller, a shape of the at least one icon, a number of executed applications, and a number of a running module.

         17 . The mobile device of claim 16 , wherein the control unit is configured to increase a black portion of the displayed screen.

         18 . The mobile device of claim 16 , wherein the control unit is configured to change the shape of the at least one icon from a full image to outlined image.

         19 . The mobile device of claim 16 , wherein the control unit is configured to quit at least one higher power-consuming application or at least one predefined application.

         20 . The mobile device of claim 16 , wherein the control unit is further configured to the display unit to display a specific icon for transitioning the mode of the mobile device from the normal mode to the eco mode.
