Mono- or Multi-Layer Film

Abstract

A one- or multilayered film is presented, in which case the film comprises at least one layer that contains at least one thermoplastic olefin homo or copolymer, modified if need be. According to the invention, said layer contains additionally, at least, one polyester. In addition, the use of such film as sliding film or preliner in pipe renovation using the so-called tube lining technique is presented, in which case the film is used for laying it on the inner wall of a pipe laid underground that will be renovated, preferably a sewer pipe, so an insertion pipe with a curable carrier material can be pulled in sliding fashion over the sliding film laid on the pipe. The film according to the invention can also be used as packaging material for food or for the so-called non-food sector.
