Pocket bun

Abstract

The present disclosure describes a bun having a pair of cavities formed therein. The cavities include inner walls which are browned. The cavities form segregated areas which are suitable for receiving separate fillings for making a sandwich. The browned inner walls in each of the cavities help prevent the bun from getting soggy.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A bun comprising:
 a wall defining a first cavity and a second cavity, said wall having an outer surface, said outer surface being browned, said first cavity and said second cavity forming distinct chambers in said bun separated by a portion of said wall, wherein said first and said second cavities are each adapted for carrying fillings, said first cavity having a browned surface, said second cavity having a browned surface.   
     
     
         2 . A bun comprising:
 an outer wall formed from bread defining a cavity portion;   a dividing wall formed from bread separating said cavity portion into a first cavity and a second cavity; said first cavity and said second cavity forming distinct chambers; wherein said first cavity and said second cavity are each adapted for carrying fillings, said first cavity having a browned inner surface, said second cavity having a browned inner surface.
