Abstract

An image capture device, comprising an image sensor, an image display, a data processing system; a storage memory and a program memory storing instructions configured to cause the data processing system to provide guidance for capturing images at a plurality of locations, by displaying guidance information for capturing a first digital image at a first location, using the image sensor to capture a first digital image, storing the first digital image in the storage memory, using the data processing system to analyze the pixel data of the first digital image and determining based on such analysis a second possible image capture location, wherein the second possible image capture location is selected from a plurality of different possible locations, displaying guidance information for a capturing a second scene at the second location, using the image sensor to capture a second digital image; and storing the second digital image in the storage memory.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A device comprising:
a receiver configured to receive a first digital image of a first scene at a first location; a memory configured to store the first digital image; a processor configured to analyze pixel data of the first digital image to determine a second location and guidance information for capturing a second digital image of a second scene, wherein the first location is different from the second location; and a transmitter configured to send guidance information for capturing the second digital image.

2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein determining the second location comprises selecting the second location from a plurality of possible locations.

3 . The device of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of possible locations is based at least in part on a history of a user.

4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the transmitter is further configured to send guidance information for capturing the first digital image.

5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the receiver is configured to receive the first digital image via a wireless communication.

6 . The device of claim 5 , wherein the wireless communication comprises a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) protocol.

7 . The device of claim 6 , wherein the processor is further configured to identify a sender of the first digital image based at least in part on a telephone number stored in a customer database.

8 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the receiver is configured to receive the first digital image via email.

9 . The device of claim 1 , wherein determining the second location is based at least in part on ambient condition information.

10 . The device of claim 9 , wherein the ambient condition information comprises time of day, weather conditions, or geolocation information.

11 . The image capture device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to analyze the pixel data of the first digital image to determine a landmark depicted in the first digital image.

12 . The image capture device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to analyze the pixel data of the first digital image to determine how many people are depicted in the first digital image.

         13 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a receiver, a first digital image of a first scene at a first location; storing, in a memory, the first digital image; determining, by a processor, a second location of a second scene and guidance information for capturing a second digital image of the second scene, wherein the first location is different from the second location; and sending, by a transmitter, the guidance information for capturing the second digital image.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the receiving the first digital image comprises communicating via a wireless communication network.

15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the receiving the first digital image is via email.

16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the determining the second location is based at least in part on ambient condition information.

17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform operations comprising:
receiving a first digital image of a first scene at a first location; storing the first digital image; determining a second location of a second scene and guidance information for capturing a second digital image of the second scene, wherein the first location is different from the second location; and sending the guidance information for capturing the second digital image.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein receiving the first digital image comprises communicating via a wireless communication network.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the receiving the first digital image is via email.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the determining the second location is based at least in part on ambient condition information.
