Abstract

A base includes a substantially rectangular plate-shaped portion including a first set and a second set, a first folding portion on a first virtual line, a second folding portion on a second virtual line, a plurality of first bottom surface portions each provided in the vicinity of each of two intersection points at which the first virtual line and each of two sides of the first set intersect, a plurality of second bottom surface portions each provided in the vicinity of each of two intersection points at which the second virtual line and each of the two sides of the first set intersect, a first side surface portion provided substantially in the center, in a reference direction, of the first virtual line on the plate-shaped portion, and a second side surface portion provided substantially in the center, in the reference direction, of the second virtual line on the plate-shaped portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A base comprising:
 a plate-shaped portion that is substantially rectangular and that includes a first set and a second set, the first set being a set of opposing two sides of the plate-shaped portion, and the second set being a set of opposing two sides of the plate-shaped portion and being different from the first set;   a first folding portion that is provided on a first virtual line, the first folding portion being a portion at which the plate-shaped portion can be folded, and the first virtual line being a virtual line extending between the two sides of the first set;   a second folding portion that is provided on a second virtual line, the second folding portion being a portion at which the plate-shaped portion can be folded, and the second virtual line being a virtual line extending between the two sides of the first set and being parallel to the first virtual line;   a plurality of first bottom surface portions that are each provided in the vicinity of each of two intersection points at which the first virtual line and each of the two sides of the first set intersect with each other on the plate-shaped portion, each of the plurality of first bottom surface portions including a pair of first bottom surface cuts and a second bottom surface cut, the pair of first bottom surface cuts being two cuts that extend in a direction from the first folding portion toward the second folding portion, and the second bottom surface cut being a cut that extends between the pair of first bottom surface cuts;   a plurality of second bottom surface portions that are each provided in the vicinity of each of two intersection points at which the second virtual line and each of the two sides of the first set intersect with each other on the plate-shaped portion, each of the plurality of second bottom surface portions including a pair of third bottom surface cuts and a fourth bottom surface cut, the pair of third bottom surface cuts being two cuts that extend in a direction from the second folding portion toward the first folding portion, and the fourth bottom surface cut being a cut that extends between the pair of third bottom surface cuts;   a first side surface portion that is provided substantially in the center, in a reference direction, of the first virtual line on the plate-shaped portion, the first side surface portion including a pair of first side surface cuts and a second side surface cut, the reference direction being a direction in which the two sides of the first set face each other, the pair of first side surface cuts extending from the first folding portion to a side opposite to the second folding portion, and the second side surface cut being a cut that extends between the pair of first side surface cuts; and   a second side surface portion that is provided substantially in the center, in the reference direction, of the second virtual line on the plate-shaped portion, the second side surface portion including a pair of third side surface cuts and a fourth side surface cut, the pair of third side surface cuts extending from the second folding portion to a side opposite to the first folding portion, and the fourth side surface cut being a cut that extends between the pair of fourth side surface cuts.   
     
     
         2 . The base according to  claim 1 , wherein
 a first side surface protruding portion is configured to be positioned on the same plane as a central plate-shaped portion when the plate-shaped portion is folded at the first folding portion, the first side surface protruding portion being a portion that is surrounded by the first virtual line, the pair of first side surface cuts, and the second side surface cut, and the central plate-shaped portion being a portion of the plate-shaped portion that is located between the first virtual line and the second virtual line,   a second side surface protruding portion is configured to be positioned on the same plane as the central plate-shaped portion when the plate-shaped portion is folded at the second folding portion, the second side surface protruding portion being a portion that is surrounded by the second virtual line, the pair of third side surface cuts, and the fourth side surface cut,   a plurality of first bottom surface protruding portions is configured to extend in a direction intersecting with the central plate-shaped portion when the plate-shaped portion is folded at the first folding portion, each of the plurality of first bottom surface protruding portions being a portion that is surrounded by the first virtual line, the pair of first bottom surface cuts, and the second bottom surface cut, and   a plurality of second bottom surface protruding portions is configured to extend in a direction intersecting with the central plate-shaped portion when the plate-shaped portion is folded at the second folding portion, each of the plurality of second bottom surface protruding portions being a portion that is surrounded by the second virtual line, the pair of third bottom surface cuts, and the fourth bottom surface cut.   
     
     
         3 . The base according to  claim 1 , wherein
 at least one of the pair of first bottom surface cuts and at least one of the pair of first side surface cuts extend in a direction that is orthogonal to the first folding portion, and   at least one of the pair of third bottom surface cuts and at least one of the pair of third side surface cuts extend in a direction that is orthogonal to the second folding portion.   
     
     
         4 . The base according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the plurality of first bottom surface portions and the plurality of second bottom surface portions are line symmetrical with respect to a third virtual line, the third virtual line being a line that is virtually set at a position where a distance from the first virtual line to the third virtual line is the same as a distance from the second virtual line to the third virtual line, and   the first side surface portion and the second side surface portion are line symmetrical with respect to the third virtual line.
