Abstract
A knotless suture system formed from two lengths of suture joined at a suture junction point, with at least four suture limbs extending from the suture junction. The knotless suture system provides the ability to construct a suture bridge for soft tissue repair and fixation across a medial and lateral row bone fixation anchor configuration while passing the suture system in a simplified method of suture management.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A suture system for use arthroscopically comprising:
a first and second length of suture; wherein the first and second lengths of suture are joined to form a suture belt; and wherein the first and second lengths of suture each have a first suture limb and a second limb extending from the suture belt.
2 . The suture system of claim 1 , wherein the suture belt is formed by interweaving the first and second lengths of suture over a length.
3 . The suture system of claim 2 , wherein the first length of suture is only partially inserted into the second length of suture.
4 . The suture system of claim 1 , wherein the suture belt is formed by stitching together the first and second lengths of suture.
5 . The suture system of claim 1 , further comprising a hollow band, wherein the first and second lengths of suture are passed through the hollow band to form the suture belt.
6 . The suture system of claim 1 , wherein the first length of suture comprises a plurality of rings, such that the suture belt is formed by passing the second length of suture through the plurality of rings.
7 . The suture system of claim 1 , further comprising a third length of suture joined to one of the first or second lengths of suture to form a second suture belt.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
