Abstract

Use of mixtures, comprising a total of at least 50% by weight of n-alkanols, selected from n-C 24 -C 34 alkanols, as additive in the processing of thermoplastic polymers.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 13 . (canceled)

14 . A processed thermoplastic polymer comprising an amount in the range from 0.01 to 1% by weight of mixture, wherein the mixture comprises a total of at least 50% by weight of n-alkanols, selected from n-C 24 -C 34 alkanols.

15 . The processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 , which is PVC.

16 . The processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 , wherein the mixture comprises a total of at least 75% by weight of n-C 28 H 57 —OH and n-C 30 H 61 —OH.

17 . The processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 , wherein the mixture is policosanol.

18 . The processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 15 , wherein the mixture is policosanol.

19 . An article which comprises the processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 , where in the article is a sheet-like product, a hollow product or a profile.

20 . A process for the production of a sheet-like product which comprises utilizing the processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 .

21 . A process for the production of hollow product which comprises utilizing the processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 .

22 . A process for the production of profiles which comprises utilizing the processed thermoplastic polymer according to claim 14 .
