. The method of claim 23 wherein said disorder or condition comprising an inflammatory component is selected from the group consisting of arthritis or other joint disease; an inflammatory gastrointestinal disease; a urinary tract inflammation; an allergic skin disease; an inflammatory respiratory disease; gingivitis; and stomatitis.

. The method of claim 24 wherein said mammal is a canine or a feline and wherein said inflammatory gastrointestinal disease is selected from the group consisting of pancreatitis, hepatitis, cholangiohepatitis, and cholangitis.

. The method of claim 24 wherein said mammal is a canine or a feline and wherein said urinary tract inflammation is selected from the group consisting of cystitis and interstitial cystitis.

. The method of claim 24 wherein said allergic skin disease is selected from the group consisting of dermatitis, atopy in canines, canine atopic dermatitis, and eosinophilic inflammatory disease in felines.

. The method of claim 24 wherein said inflammatory respiratory disease is selected from the group consisting of canine bronchitis, chronic airway disease, fibrosing alveolitis, and feline asthma.

. The method of claim 24 wherein said mammal is a feline and wherein said disorder or condition is selected from the group consisting of gingivitis and stomatitis.

. A pharmaceutical composition for the veterinary treatment of a disorder or a condition in a mammal, said composition comprising a serum composition obtained from a goat after challenge with an immunogen wherein said pharmaceutical composition is suitable for administration to said mammal.
