Abstract

Methods, systems, and media for indicating digital media content quality to a user are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, methods of indicating digital media content quality to a user are provided, the methods comprising: receiving a request for authenticated media content; receiving a device identification associated with a media device; comparing the device identification to a registered device identification using a hardware processor; and upon determining that the device identification matches the registered device identification, causing an authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to be transmitted to the media device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method of indicating digital media content quality to a user comprising:
 receiving a request for authenticated media content; receiving a device identification associated with a media device; comparing the device identification to a registered device identification using a hardware processor; and upon determining that the device identification matches the registered device identification, causing an authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to be transmitted to the media device.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising, upon determining that the device identification does not match the registered device identification, sending an instruction to inhibit display of the authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to the media device.

         3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting the authenticated media content to the media device.

         4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising encrypting the authenticity token.

         5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising digitally signing the authenticity token.

         6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the authenticity token is a logo.

         7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the authenticity token is a signature of an artist.

         8 . A system for indicating digital media content quality to a user comprising:
 at least one hardware processor configured to:
 receive a request for authenticated media content;
 receive a device identification associated with a media device;
 compare the device identification to a registered device identification; and
 upon determining that the device identification matches the registered device identification, cause an authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to be transmitted to the media device.

         9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one hardware processor is also configured to, upon determining that the device identification does not match the registered device identification, send an instruction to inhibit display of the authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to the media device.

         10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one hardware processor is also configured to transmit the authenticated media content to the media device.

         11 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one hardware processor is also configured to encrypt the authenticity token.

         12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one hardware processor is also configured to digitally sign the authenticity token.

         13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the authenticity token is a logo.

         14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the authenticity token is a signature of an artist.

         15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing computer executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method for indicating digital media content quality to a user, the method comprising:
 receiving a request for authenticated media content; receiving a device identification associated with a media device; comparing the device identification to a registered device identification; and upon determining that the device identification matches the registered device identification, causing an authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to be transmitted to the media device.

         16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the method further comprises, upon determining that the device identification does not match the registered device identification, sending an instruction to inhibit display of the authenticity token associated with the authenticated media content to the media device.

         17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the method further comprises transmitting the authenticated media content to the media device.

         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the method further comprises encrypting the authenticity token.

         19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the method further comprises digitally signing the authenticity token.

         20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the authenticity token is a logo.

         21 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the authenticity token is a signature of an artist.
