Abstract

An athletic positioning shoe includes an upper section, a sole, and an insole. The sole includes a heel section, an angled support platform, and a toe area section. The heel section has a first height along a rear edge of the sole from an inner edge to an outer edge and has a first slope from the rear edge to an abutment with the angled support platform. The angled support platform has a first angle along the outer edge from the heel section to a front edge of the sole, a second angle along a front edge to the toe section, and a third angle along the inner edge from the heel section to the toe section, wherein the first angle is less than the third angle. The toe area section has a surface for supporting an inner ball of foot and/or a big toe.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . An athletic positioning shoe comprises:
 an upper section; a sole coupled to the upper section; and an insole positioned with respect to the sole, wherein the sole includes:
 a heel section;
 an angled support platform; and
 a toe area section;
 wherein the heel section has a first height along a rear edge of the sole from an inner edge to an outer edge of the sole and has a first slope from the rear edge to an abutment with the angled support platform,
 wherein the angled support platform has:
 a first angle along the outer edge of the sole from the heel section to a front edge of the sole;
 a second angle along a front edge of the sole to the toe section; and
 a third angle along the inner edge of the sole from the heel section to the toe section, wherein the first angle is less than the third angle; and

 wherein the toe area section has a surface for supporting, when worn, at least one of: an inner ball of foot and a big toe.

         2 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the toe area section comprises:
 the surface being a plane having a slope substantially similar to the first slope.

         3 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the toe area section comprises:
 the surface being a plane having a substantially zero degree slope.

         4 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 comprises one of:
 a basketball shoe;
 a tennis shoe;
 a golf shoe;
 a ski boot;
 an ice skate;
 a baseball shoe;
 a football shoe;
 a soccer shoe;
 a running shoe;
 a track shoe; and
 a fitness shoe.

         5 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the angled support platform comprises:
 a gradient surface having the first angle, the second angle, and the third angle as functions of a gradient slope of the gradient surface.

         6 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the toe area section comprises:
 a support cup corresponding to a big toe section of the toe area.

         7 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the toe area section comprises:
 a support cup corresponding to a ball of foot section of the toe area.

         8 . The athletic positioning shoe of claim 1 , wherein the first slope comprises:
 a substantially zero degree slope.
