Abstract
Novel compositions in petroleum jelly-free unguent form, in particular for topical application, contain a vitamin D compound and optionally an active agent of the family of steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An anhydrous unguent composition, comprising:
a) at least one vitamin D compound, selected from among calcipotriol, calcitriol, doxercalciferol, secalcitol, maxacalcitol, seocalcitol, tacalcitol, paricalcitol, falecalcitriol, 1α,24S-dihydroxyvitamin D2, 1(S),3(R)-dihydroxy-20(R)-[((3-(2-hydroxy-2-propyl)phenyl)methoxy)methyl]-9,10-secopregna-5(Z),7(E),10(19)triene and {4-[6-ethyl-4′-(1-ethyl-1-hydroxypropyl)-2′-propylbiphenyl-3-yloxymethyl]-2-hydroxymethylphenyl}methanol, b) glyceryl behenate, or derivative or mixture thereof, and c) at least one solvent having a boiling point greater than 40° C., the said composition containing no petroleum jelly or polyorganosiloxane elastomer.
