Abstract

The various embodiments of the present inventions provide stabilization devices and methods for use of the stabilization devices with minimally invasive gynecological procedures such as methods of preventing pregnancy by inserting intrafallopian contraceptive devices into the fallopian tubes

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
We claim:

1 . A medical device stabilization arm comprising:
an elongated arm including a first fitting designed to couple onto an endoscope and a second fitting designed to couple to a medical device.

2 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 1 wherein the medical device is designed for an intrafallopian contraceptive procedure.

3 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 2 wherein the medical device includes an implant.

4 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 1 wherein the elongated arm maintains a fixed longitudinal distance between the medical device and the endoscope.

5 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 4 wherein the first fitting is opposite to the second fitting about ends of the elongated arm.

6 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 5 wherein the first fitting and the second fitting are longitudinally aligned.

7 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 6 wherein a portion of the elongated arm is offset to a longitudinal path between the first fitting and the second fitting.

         8 . A kit comprising:
an endoscope; and an elongated arm including a first fitting designed to couple onto the endoscope and a second fitting designed to couple to a medical device.

9 . The kit of claim 8 further comprising the medical device.

10 . The kit of claim 9 wherein the medical device comprises a control device, a catheter extending from the control device, and an implant coupled to the catheter.

11 . The kit of claim 10 wherein the second fitting is designed to couple to the control device of the medical device.

12 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 1 wherein the elongated arm maintains a fixed longitudinal distance between the control device and the endoscope.

13 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 12 wherein the first fitting is opposite to the second fitting about ends of the elongated arm.

14 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 13 wherein the first fitting and the second fitting are longitudinally aligned.

15 . The medical device stabilization arm of claim 14 wherein a portion of the elongated arm is offset to a longitudinal path between the first fitting and the second fitting.
