Abstract

The invention is a stabilizing cup holder comprising a circular or elliptical shaped holding member to prevent a beverage container from tipping. The holding member structure is attached to a bottom member. The invention being of substantial weight such that a beverage container may be easily lifted from the device with no additional force applied to the holding member.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A stabilizing cup holder comprising:
a holding member, said holding member having an exterior skin and holding member filler; a bottom member attached to the holding member; and said holding member filler comprising one or more of the following: solid matter, contained liquid, gas, or gel filler.

2 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 1 , further comprising:
a waterproof or water resistant layer underneath the exterior skin of the holding member.

3 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 1 , wherein the holding member filler further comprising:
a holding member foam layer, wherein the exterior skin covers the holding member foam layer.

4 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 3 , wherein, the holding member filler comprises:
a solid matter with one or more of the following: sand, glass beads, small stones, metal bearing, metal bee bees, or plastic beads.

5 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 1 , wherein the holding member filler further comprising:
a tube filled with a liquid or a gel filler.

6 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 1 , wherein the bottom member comprises a non-slip or non-skid bottom surface.

7 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 1 , wherein the bottom member comprises a water absorbent material.

         8 . A stabilizing cup holder comprising:
a holding member for holding a beverage container, said holding member having an exterior skin and holding member filler, said holding member having a first weight thereof; and a bottom member attached to the holding member, said bottom member having a second weight thereof, wherein a sum of the first weight and the second weight being greater than a force exerted on the beverage container in a upwardly direction relatively perpendicular to the first weight and the second weight.

9 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 8 , further comprising:
a waterproof or water resistant layer underneath the exterior skin of the holding member.

10 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 8 , wherein the holding member filler further comprising:
a holding member foam layer, wherein the exterior skin covers the holding member foam layer.

11 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 10 , wherein, the holding member filler comprises:
a solid matter with one or more of the following: sand, glass beads, small stones, metal bearing, metal bee bees, or plastic beads.

12 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 8 , wherein the holding member filler further comprising:
a tube filled with a liquid or a gel filler.

13 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 8 , wherein the bottom member comprises a non-slip or non-skid bottom surface.

         14 - 20 . (canceled)

21 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 8 , wherein the bottom member comprises one or more of the following: a non-slip or non-skid bottom surface, or a water absorbent material.

         22 . A stabilizing cup holder comprising:
a holding member for holding a beverage container, said holding member having an exterior skin and holding member filler, said holding member having a first weight thereof; and a bottom member attached to the holding member, said bottom member having a second weight thereof, wherein a sum of the first weight and the second weight being greater than a friction force exerted on the beverage container biased against the exterior skin.

23 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 22 , wherein the entire stabilizing cup holder is free standing or not permanently attached to any other devices.

24 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 22 , wherein the holding member engages with the cup.

25 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 22 , wherein the holding member filler further comprising:
a holding member foam layer, wherein the exterior skin covers the holding member foam layer.

26 . The stabilizing cup holder of claim 22 , wherein, the holding member filler comprises:
a solid matter with one or more of the following: sand, glass beads, small stones, metal bearing, metal bee bees, or plastic beads.
