System and method for loading a digital wallet

Abstract

A system and method for facilitating a value exchange transaction are provided. A plurality of identifiers to be associated with a user account that is accessible via the wallet application is received by a networked system from a wallet application on a mobile device. In response, access is provided to a plurality of values corresponding to the received plurality of identifiers. The plurality of values includes monetary values and non-monetary values.

1 . A method comprising:
 receiving, by a networked system from a wallet application on a mobile device, a plurality of identifiers to be associated with a user account that is accessible via the wallet application   providing, by a hardware processor, access to a plurality of values corresponding to the received plurality of identifiers, the plurality of values including monetary values and non-monetary values.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a voucher or points. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a discount. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a coupon. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a certificate. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise at least one of frequent flier miles, a credit, a debit, or barter points. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 establishing a connection with the mobile device via the wallet application;   receiving a user identifier associated with the user account; and   providing access to information including amounts corresponding to the plurality of values stored in the user account based on the user identifier.   
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , further comprising altering at least one of the amounts during the established connection. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising providing a reward for introducing a new user to the networked system, the reward comprising an addition of value of one of the plurality of values. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the monetary values comprise at least one of a credit card, a debit card, or a bank account. 
     
     
         11 . A machine-readable medium having no transitory signals and storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
 receiving, by a networked system from a wallet application on a mobile device, a plurality of identifiers to be associated with a user account that is accessible via the wallet application; and   providing access to a plurality of values corresponding to the received plurality of identifiers, the plurality of values including monetary values and non-monetary values.   
     
     
         12 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a voucher or points. 
     
     
         13 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a discount. 
     
     
         14 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a coupon. 
     
     
         15 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise a certificate. 
     
     
         16 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the non-monetary values comprise at least one of frequent flier miles, a credit, a debit, or barter points. 
     
     
         17 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 establishing a connection with the mobile device via the wallet application;   receiving a user identifier associated with the user account; and   providing access to information including amounts corresponding to the plurality of values stored in the user account based on the user identifier.   
     
     
         18 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprise altering at least one of the amounts during the established connection. 
     
     
         19 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 11 , wherein the operations further comprise providing a reward for introducing a new user to the networked system, the reward comprising an addition of value of one of the plurality of values. 
     
     
         20 . A system comprising:
 one or more servers configured to:
 receive, from a wallet application on a mobile device, a plurality of identifiers to be associated with a user account that is accessible via the wallet application; and 
 provide access to a plurality of values corresponding to the received plurality of identifiers, the plurality of values including monetary values and non-monetary values.
