Abstract

A system includes a receiver configured to receive a first set of element management system data from a first element management system. The first set of element management system data includes first network element data associated with a first network element of the first element management system. The receiver also configured to receive a second set of element management system data from a second element management system. The second set of element management system data includes second network element data associated with a second network element of the second element management system. The system also includes a reformatting component configured to reformat the first set and the second set to generate data having a common data format.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system comprising:
 a receiving component configured to:
 receive a first set of element management system data from a first element management system, wherein the first set of element management system data includes first network element data associated with a first network element of the first element management system; and 
 receive a second set of element management system data from a second element management system, wherein the second set of element management system data includes second network element data associated with a second network element of the second element management system; and 
   a reformatting component configured to reformat the first set and the second set to generate data having a common data format.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising a display component configured to use the data to display network performance metrics via a user interface, the user interface comprising a market level view including a first list of wire centers within a service market. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the market level view further comprises details associated with remote terminals within each of the wire centers, details associated with service distribution areas within each of the wire centers, details associated with cards within each of the wire centers, details associated with ports within each of the wire centers, a virtual interface group usage history associated with each of the wire centers, or any combination thereof 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the user interface further comprises:
 a company level view including a second list of service regions within a company; and   a regional level view including a third list of service markets within a service region.   
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein the company level view further comprises details associated with remote terminals within each of the service regions, details associated with service distribution areas within each of the service regions, details associated with cards within each of the service regions, details associated with ports within each of the service regions, a virtual interface group usage history associated with each of the service regions, a total number of channel banks, a total number of asymmetrical digital subscriber line channel banks, a channel bank concentration value, a remote terminal concentration value, or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the user interface further comprises:
 a wire center level view including a second list of systems within each of the wire centers; and   a system level view including a third list of central office terminals and subtending remote terminals within each of the systems.   
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the wire center level view further comprises details associated with remote terminals within each of the systems, details associated with service distribution areas within each of the systems, details associated with cards within each of the systems, details associated with ports within each of the systems, details associated with routes within each of the systems, a virtual interface group usage history associated with each of the systems, or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the user interface further comprises:
 a distribution area level view including a second list of cards located within service distribution areas; and   a channel bank level view including a third list of cards within channel banks   
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the distribution area level view further comprises details associated with ports within each of the service distribution areas, a virtual interface group usage history associated with each of the service distribution areas, or any combination thereof, and wherein the channel bank level view further comprises details associated with each port within each of the cards within the channel banks. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the user interface further comprises:
 a card level view including a fourth list of ports associated with each of the cards within each of the service distribution areas and associated with each of the cards located within each of the channel banks; and   a port level view including a fifth list of attributes associated with each of the ports.   
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 10 , wherein the card level view further comprises details associated with each of the ports, and wherein the port level view further comprises details associated with each of the ports. 
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the user interface further comprises a virtual interface group level view including a second list of usage data associated with virtual interface groups. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the first network element data includes a system name, an internet protocol address, administrative state information, configuration type information, version information, a card name, a card type, a card code, a card serial number, a card primary service state, a card secondary service name, a port type, a port code, a port serial number, a port primary service state, a port secondary service name, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         14 . A method comprising:
 receiving, at a processor, a first set of element management system data from a first element management system, wherein the first set of element management system data includes first network element data associated with a first network element of the first element management system;   receiving, at the processor, a second set of element management system data from a second element management system, wherein the second set of element management system data includes second network element data associated with a second network element of the second element management system; and   generating, at the processor, data having a common data format by reformatting the first set and the second set.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , further comprising using the data to generate a display of network performance metrics, the display including a market level view including a first list of wire centers within a service market. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein the display further includes:
 a company level view including a second list of service regions within a company; and   a regional level view including a third list of service markets within a service region.   
     
     
         17 . A computer-readable storage device storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
 receiving a first set of element management system data from a first element management system, wherein the first set of element management system data includes first network element data associated with a first network element of the first element management system;   receiving a second set of element management system data from a second element management system, wherein the second set of element management system data includes second network element data associated with a second network element of the second element management system; and   generating data having a common data format by reformatting the first set and the second set.   
     
     
         18 . The computer-readable storage device of  claim 17 , wherein the operations further include using the data to generate a display of network performance metrics, the display including a market level view including a list of wire centers within a service market. 
     
     
         19 . The computer-readable storage device of  claim 17 , wherein the operations further include notifying a user of changes to network performance metrics based on a classification of the user. 
     
     
         20 . The computer-readable storage device of  claim 19 , wherein notifying the user is based on a particular network performance metric exceeding a threshold, and wherein the particular network performance metric includes bandwidth utilization, bit error rates, line characteristics, traffic performance, inventory performance, or vendor performance.
