Use of a digital wallet application

Abstract

A system and method for using a digital wallet application is provided. In a wallet application on a mobile device, a list of entities is provided. The list of entities comprises entities with which the user has previously conducted a value transfer using the wallet application. A selection of an entity from the list of entities is received. A new value transfer is initiated with the selected entity in response to the received selection.

1 . A method comprising:
 in a wallet application on a mobile device, providing a list of entities, the list of entities comprising entities with which the user has previously conducted a value transfer using the wallet application;   receiving a selection of an entity from the list of entities; and   initiating, by a hardware processor, a new value transfer with the selected entity in response to the received selection.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 providing a plurality of options for conducting the new value transfer with the selected entity; and   receiving a selection of an option from the plurality of options.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 establishing a connection between the mobile device and a networked system; and   transmitting a user identifier of the selected entity and a request to conduct the new value transfer with the selected entity.   
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises initiating a direct value exchange with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises exchanging a token with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one user identifier comprising an email address corresponding to an entity. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one identifier comprising a phone number corresponding to an entity. 
     
     
         8 . A machine-readable medium having no transitory signals and storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
 in a wallet application on a mobile device, providing a list of entities, the list of entities comprising entities with which the user has previously conducted a value transfer using the wallet application;   receiving a selection of an entity from the list of entities; and   initiating a new value transfer with the selected entity in response to the received selection.   
     
     
         9 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 providing a plurality of options for conducting the new value transfer with the selected entity; and   receiving a selection of an option from the plurality of options.   
     
     
         10 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 establishing a connection between the mobile device and a networked system; and   transmitting a user identifier of the selected entity and a request to conduct the new value transfer with the selected entity.   
     
     
         11 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises initiating a direct value exchange with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         12 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises exchanging a token with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         13 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one user identifier comprising an email address corresponding to an entity. 
     
     
         14 . The machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one identifier comprising a phone number corresponding to an entity. 
     
     
         15 . A mobile device comprising:
 one or more hardware processors;   a storage having a wallet application that, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, cause operations comprising:
 providing a list of entities, the list of entities comprising entities with which the user has previously conducted a value transfer using the wallet application; 
 receiving a selection of an entity from the list of entities; and 
 initiating, by a hardware processor, a new value transfer with the selected entity in response to the received selection. 
   
     
     
         16 . The mobile device of  claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 establishing a connection between the mobile device and a networked system; and   transmitting a user identifier of the selected entity and a request to conduct the new value transfer with the selected entity.   
     
     
         17 . The mobile device of  claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises initiating a direct value exchange with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         18 . The mobile device of  claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise establishing a wireless connection with a device of the selected entity, wherein the initiating the new value transfer comprises exchanging a token with the device of the selected entity using the wireless connection. 
     
     
         19 . The mobile device of  claim 15 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one user identifier comprising an email address or a phone number corresponding to an entity. 
     
     
         20 . The mobile device of  claim 15 , wherein the list of entities comprises at least one user identifier corresponding to each entity on the list, the at least one identifier comprising a phone number corresponding to an entity.
