Wipes dispenser

Abstract

A container for storing a plurality of wipes that can be dispensed by a consumer is disclosed. The container includes a container body including a bottom wall, a midsection, and a top wall. The container body defines an interior cavity that is configured for storing the plurality of wipes. The container includes a dispensing aperture in the container body and a lid that is configured to be opened and closed. The lid provides access to the dispensing aperture when opened and hinders access to the dispensing aperture when closed. The container includes a minimum container depth and a minimum container width and the bottom wall includes a maximum bottom wall depth and a maximum bottom wall width. The maximum bottom wall depth can be greater than the minimum container depth and the maximum bottom wall width can be greater than the minimum container width.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A container for storing a plurality of wipes that can be dispensed by a consumer, the container comprising:
 a container body including a bottom wall, a midsection, and a top wall, the container body defining an interior cavity configured for storing the plurality of wipes;   a dispensing aperture in the container body; and   a lid configured to be opened and closed, the lid providing access to the dispensing aperture when opened and hindering access to the dispensing aperture when closed;   wherein the container includes a minimum container depth and the bottom wall includes a maximum bottom wall depth, the maximum bottom wall depth being greater than the minimum container depth.   
     
     
         2 . The container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid includes a maximum lid depth, the maximum lid depth being greater than the minimum container depth. 
     
     
         3 . The container of  claim 2 , wherein the maximum lid depth is less than the maximum bottom wall depth. 
     
     
         4 . The container of  claim 1 , wherein the container includes a minimum container width, the bottom wall includes a maximum bottom wall width, the maximum bottom wall width being greater than the minimum container width. 
     
     
         5 . The container of  claim 4 , wherein the lid includes a maximum lid width, the maximum lid width being greater than the minimum container width. 
     
     
         6 . The container of  claim 5 , wherein the maximum lid width is less than the maximum bottom wall width. 
     
     
         7 . The container of  claim 1 , wherein the container includes a maximum container height, a maximum container width, and a maximum container depth, the maximum container height being a greatest distance between the bottom wall and the lid of the container, wherein the maximum container height is greater than the maximum container width and the maximum container depth. 
     
     
         8 . The container of  claim 1 , wherein the midsection includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall, the front wall being opposite the rear wall, the first side wall being opposite the second side wall, the dispensing aperture positioned adjacent the front wall. 
     
     
         9 . The container of  claim 1 , wherein the interior cavity is configured for storing the plurality of wipes in a stacked fashion and in a vertical orientation. 
     
     
         10 . The container of  claim 1 , further comprising the plurality of wipes. 
     
     
         11 . A container for storing a plurality of wipes that can be dispensed by a consumer, the container comprising:
 a container body including a bottom wall, a midsection, and a top wall, the container body defining an interior cavity configured for storing the plurality of wipes;   a dispensing aperture in the container body; and   a lid configured to be opened and closed, the lid providing access to the dispensing aperture when opened and hindering access to the dispensing aperture when closed;   wherein the container includes a minimum container width and the bottom wall includes a maximum bottom wall width, the maximum bottom wall width being greater than the minimum container width.   
     
     
         12 . The container of  claim 11 , wherein the lid includes a maximum lid width, the maximum lid width being greater than the minimum container width. 
     
     
         13 . The container of  claim 12 , wherein the maximum lid width is less than the maximum bottom wall width. 
     
     
         14 . The container of  claim 11 , wherein the container includes a maximum container height, a maximum container width, and a container depth, the maximum container height being a greatest distance between the bottom wall and the lid of the container, wherein the maximum container height is greater than the maximum container width and the maximum container depth. 
     
     
         15 . The container of  claim 11 , wherein the midsection includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall, the front wall being opposite the rear wall, the first side wall being opposite the second sidewall, the dispensing aperture positioned adjacent the front wall. 
     
     
         16 . The container of  claim 11 , wherein the interior cavity is configured for storing the plurality of wipes in a stacked fashion and in a vertical orientation. 
     
     
         17 . The container of  claim 11 , further comprising the plurality of wipes. 
     
     
         18 . A container for storing a plurality of wipes that can be dispensed by a consumer, the container comprising:
 a container body including a bottom wall, a midsection, and a top wall, the top wall being hingedly coupled to the midsection, the container body defining an interior cavity configured for storing the plurality of wipes;   a dispensing aperture in the container body, the dispensing aperture configured to hold a leading edge of a next successive wipe in the plurality of wipes; and   a lid configured to be opened and closed, the lid providing access to the dispensing aperture when opened and hindering access to the dispensing aperture when closed, the lid being coupled to a rear portion of the container;   wherein the container is configured such that when the container is positioned on a surface and against a wall with the rear portion of the container adjacent the wall and wherein the wall is substantially perpendicular to the surface, the lid can open sufficiently to provide access to the leading edge of the next successive wipe in the plurality of wipes.   
     
     
         19 . The container of  claim 18 , wherein the lid is hingedly coupled to the midsection. 
     
     
         20 . The container of  claim 19 , wherein the top wall rotates about a first hinge axis and the lid rotates about the first hinge axis. 
     
     
         21 . The container of  claim 18 , wherein the midsection includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall, the front wall being opposite the rear wall, the first side wall being opposite the second side wall, the dispensing aperture positioned adjacent the front wall. 
     
     
         22 . The container of  claim 18 , wherein the container includes a maximum container height, a maximum container width, and a container depth, the maximum container height being a greatest distance between the bottom wall and the lid of the container, wherein the maximum container height is greater than the maximum container width and the maximum container depth. 
     
     
         23 . The container of  claim 18 , wherein the interior cavity is configured for storing the plurality of wipes in a stacked fashion and in a vertical orientation. 
     
     
         24 . The container of  claim 18 , further comprising the plurality of wipes.
