Abstract
A thermochromic material comprises VO 2 doped with Mg. A method for manufacturing of VO 2 -based thermochromic material comprises the step of doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with Mg.

4 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with at least 1.3 at % Mg.
5 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with at least 1.7 at % Mg.
6 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with at least 2.9 at % Mg.
7 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with less than 5.5 at % Mg.
8 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with less than 4.9 at % Mg.
9 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with Mg in an amount sufficient to increase the luminous transmittance of the VO 2 in the visible light range.
10 . The thermochromic material according to claim 1 , comprising VO 2 doped with Mg in an amount sufficient to decrease the transition temperature at which increased luminous transmittance of the VO 2 occurs.
11 . A method for manufacturing of VO 2 -based thermochromic material, comprising the step of:
doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with Mg.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with at least 0.35 at % Mg.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with at least 0.8 at % Mg.
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with at least 1.3 at % Mg.
15 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with at least 1.7 at % Mg.
16 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with at least 2.9 at % Mg.
17 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with less than 5.5 at % Mg.
18 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with less than 4.9 at % Mg.
19 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with Mg in an amount sufficient to increase the luminous transmittance of the VO 2 in the visible light range.
20 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein said step of doping comprises doping a VO 2 -based thermochromic material with Mg in an amount sufficient to decrease the transition temperature at which increased luminous transmittance of the VO 2 occurs.Cited by (0)
