Medication and treatment for disease

Abstract

A treatment is described for diseases with symptoms that can include fatigue, muscle aches and spasms, weakness, demylenation, and nerve pain. Diseases can include fibromyalgia, depression, and auto-immune and immuno-suppressive diseases, such as MS. The treatment comprises about 1-10 mg naltrexone, at least about 20 μg vitamin B12, at least about 5 mg vitamin B6, at least about 2 mg coenzyme Q, and preferably at least one ancillary medication selected from the group consisting of diazepam, cyclcobenzaprine, clonazepam, alprazolam, 9-tetrahydrocannibinol, fumarate, caffeine, and combinations thereof. The treatment can be administered orally, and can decrease mental and physical symptoms such as, for example, fatigue, gait problems, visual dysfunction, and pain while improving cognitive skills.

1 . A medication for treating disease comprising low-dose naltrexone, coenzyme Q, and vitamins B12 and B6. 
     
     
         2 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises from about 1 mg to about 10 mg naltrexone. 
     
     
         3 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises from about 2 mg to about 5 mg naltrexone. 
     
     
         4 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises at least about 20 μg vitamin B12. 
     
     
         5 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises at least about 5 mg vitamin B6. 
     
     
         6 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises at least about 2 mg coenzyme Q. 
     
     
         7 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication comprises an ancillary medication selected from the group consisting of an anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, demyelinating inhibitor, stimulant, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         8 . A medication for treating disease comprising low-dose naltrexone, coenzyme Q, and vitamins B12 and B6, further comprising an ancillary medication selected from the group consisting of diazepam, clonazepam, alprazolam, 9-tetrahydrocannibinol, fumarate, caffeine, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         9 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 0.05 mg to about 50 mg diazepam. 
     
     
         10 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 0.5 mg to about 10 mg cyclobenzaprine. 
     
     
         11 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 0.1 mg to about 2 mg clonazepam. 
     
     
         12 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 0.05 mg to about 5 mg alprazolam. 
     
     
         13 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 0.1 μg to about 5 μg THC. 
     
     
         14 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 20 mg to about 800 mg fumarate. 
     
     
         15 . The medication of  claim 8 , wherein the medication comprises from about 10 mg to about 200 mg caffeine. 
     
     
         16 . A method for treating disease in a patient in need thereof wherein the treatment comprises administering the medication of  claim 1  at least once per day. 
     
     
         17 . The medication of  claim 1 , wherein the medication is provided in the form of a pill or tablet. 
     
     
         18 . A medication for treating disease comprising about 1 mg to about 10 mg naltrexone, at least about 2 mg coenzyme Q, and at least about 20 μg vitamin B12, and at least about 5 mg vitamin B6. 
     
     
         19 . The medication of  claim 18 , wherein the medication comprises an ancillary medication, wherein said ancillary medication is selected from the group consisting of an anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, demyelinating inhibitor, stimulant, and combinations thereof.
