Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program
Abstract
Disclosed herein is an information processing apparatus including: a display control section configured to display on a display section a picture based on a video signal and a caption synchronized with the picture and based on caption information attached to the video signal; and a character string information acquisition section configured to acquire character string information common to the caption information and to information related to music contents stored in a storage section, by comparing the caption information with the related information. The display control section displays on the display section the caption in which the common character string information acquired by the character string information acquisition section is highlighted in a predetermined manner.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
at least one processor configured to:
output for display a video signal and text relating to the video signal;
in response to detecting user input with respect to a first portion of the text, output for display information regarding the at least one music content; and
initiate a playback of at least a first music content of the at least one music content.
2 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to determine that the at least one music content is preferred by a user of the information processing apparatus.
3 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
receiving the video signal and the text relating to the video signal via a wireless receiver, the text relating to the video signal comprising subtitle information for the video signal.
4 . The information processing apparatus of claim 3 , wherein receiving the video signal and the text relating to the video signal via a wireless receiver comprises demodulating a received digital signal from a digital television broadcast frequency to a second frequency, the received digital signal being encoded with the video signal and/or the subtitle information.
5 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein outputting for display the information regarding the at least one music content in response to detecting user input with respect to the first portion of the text comprises outputting for display the information regarding the at least one music content in response to detecting user input with respect to the first portion of the text at a time that the first portion of the text is displayed on the display.
6 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
determine that the first portion of the text relating to the video signal matches text regarding at least one music content at least in part by comparing the first portion of the text to text regarding music content stored locally on the information processing apparatus, the music content comprising the at least one music content.
7 . The information processing apparatus of claim 6 , wherein determining that the first portion of the text relating to the video signal matches text regarding at least one music content comprises comparing the first portion of the text to one or more of artist information, album information, or song information for the at least one music content.
8 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein outputting for display the video signal and the text relating to the video signal comprises outputting formatting information for the first portion of the text indicating that the first portion is to be highlighted in the display relative to a second portion of the text.
9 . The information processing apparatus of claim 8 , wherein outputting formatting information indicating that the first portion is to be highlighted in the display comprises outputting formatting information instructing display of the first portion of the text with one or more of underlining, a font size that is larger or smaller than a font size of the second portion, a font color that is different from a font color of the second portion, or a font style that is different from a font style of the second portion.
10 . The information processing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein outputting for display information regarding the at least one music content comprises ceasing display of the video signal and the text relating to the video signal.
11 . At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having encoded thereon executable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to carry out a method comprising:
outputting for display a video signal and text relating to the video signal; in response to detecting user input with respect to a first portion of the text, outputting for display information regarding the at least one music content; and initiating a playback of at least a first music content of the at least one music content.
12 . The at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , further comprising identifying one or more music contents preferred by the user of the information processing apparatus, the one or more music contents comprising the at least one music content.
13 . The at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , further comprising:
determining that the first portion of the text relating to the video signal matches text regarding at least one music content at least in part by comparing the first portion of the text to text regarding music content stored locally on the information processing apparatus, the music content comprising the at least one music content.
14 . The at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein determining that the first portion of the text relating to the video signal matches text regarding at least one music content comprises comparing the first portion of the text to one or more of artist information, album information, or song information for the at least one music content.
15 . The at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , further comprising:
outputting formatting information for the first portion of the text indicating that the first portion is to be highlighted in the display relative to the second portion of the text.
16 . The at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein outputting formatting information indicating that the first portion is to be highlighted in the display comprises outputting formatting information instructing display of the first portion of the text with one or more of underlining, a font size that is larger or smaller than a font size of the second portion, a font color that is different from a font color of the second portion, or a font style that is different from a font style of the second portion.
17 . A method comprising:
outputting for display a video signal and text relating to the video signal; in response to detecting user input with respect to a first portion of the text, outputting for display information regarding the at least one music content; and initiating a playback of at least a first music content of the at least one music content.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
outputting formatting information for the first portion of the text in response to determining that the first portion of the text matches text regarding the at least one music content and that the at least one music content is preferred by a user of the information processing apparatus.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein determining that the first portion of the text relating to the video signal matches text regarding at least one music content comprises comparing the first portion of the text to one or more of artist information, album information, or song information for the at least one music content.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein outputting formatting information for the first portion of the text comprises outputting formatting information instructing display of the first portion of the text with one or more of underlining, a font size that is larger or smaller than a font size of the second portion, a font color that is different from a font color of the second portion, or a font style that is different from a font style of the second portion.Cited by (0)
