Abstract

A modular cross-flow-fan device comprises a housing, at least two cross flow fans and a motor. The housing is an extruded aluminum piece having a first wall and a second wall, and is formed with an air inlet and an air outlet. The cross flow fans are disposed in the housing and connected to each other. The motor is disposed on the housing and is connected to at least one of the cross flow fans. By this structure, longer cross flow fans having preferred rigidity and strength can be formed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A modular cross-flow-fan device, comprising:
a housing, which is an extruded aluminum piece, having a first wall, a second wall, and a partition board therein partitioning the interior of the housing into at least two accommodating spaces, and formed with an air inlet and an air outlet; at least two cross flow fans, disposed respectively in the accommodating spaces and connected to each other; a motor, disposed on the housing and connected to at least one of the cross flow fans.

2 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein a guiding portion is formed between the first wall and the second wall.

3 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 2 , wherein the guiding portion is curved or a slanted plane.

4 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein a cross section of the housing has a bent shape.

5 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein the first wall and the second wall are perpendicular to each other.

6 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein the air inlet and the air outlet are formed at two adjacent sides of the housing, and a separation portion is disposed between the air inlet and the air outlet.

7 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 6 , wherein the partition board is disposed on the housing and the separation portion.

8 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein a first base and a second base are respectively assembled at the two ends of the housing.

9 . The modular cross-flow-fan device according to claim 1 , wherein each of two adjacent cross-flow-fan devices are connected therebetween via an axis, and the axis is configured with a bearing unit and an elastic sleeve to be rotatably accommodated in one of the partition boards.

         10 . A modular cross-flow-fan device, comprising:
a casing, which is an extruded aluminum piece, having a first wall and a second wall, and is formed with an air inlet and an air outlet; at least two cross flow fans, disposed in the housing and connected to each other; a motor, disposed on the housing and connected to at least one of the cross flow fans.
