Visual selection of an anatomical element for requesting information about a medical condition
Abstract
Embodiments herein provide information about a medical condition based on user input. A user is presented with an anatomical assembly representing an anatomical region of the human body. The presentation includes user-selectable display elements which, when selected, indicate an area in the anatomical assembly representing areas in which a medical symptom is experienced in the human body. Upon receiving user input selecting one of the user-selectable elements of the anatomical assembly, the user is presented with a selection of a medical condition corresponding to the selected element of the anatomical assembly. The user is also presented with information about a medical specialist corresponding to the medical condition.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A method, implemented at a computer system that includes one or more processors and system memory, for providing information about a medical condition based on user input, the method comprising:
presenting a user with an anatomical assembly representing an anatomical region of the human body, including one or more user-selectable display elements which, when selected, indicate one or more an areas in the anatomical assembly representing areas in which a medical symptom is experienced in the human body; receiving user input selecting one or more of the user-selectable elements of the anatomical assembly; presenting the user with a selection of one or more medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly, wherein the one or more medical conditions are medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly; and presenting the user with information about one or more medical specialists corresponding to one or more of the medical conditions as well as the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the medical symptom is selected from the group comprising pain experienced in the human body, inflammation, discoloration, and rash.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising presenting the user with one or more user-selectable interface elements for selecting a severity level.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving user input selecting one or more of the medical conditions; and presenting the user with information about the selected one or more medical conditions.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the information about the selected one or more medical conditions includes:
one or more graphical images or videos illustrating the one or more medical conditions; and a textual description of the one or more medical conditions.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the information about the selected one or more medical conditions also includes information about procedures for treating the one or more medical conditions.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
rotating the anatomical assembly in response to user input, to provide a 360 degree view of the anatomical assembly.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
presenting one or more user-selectable annotation options for selecting one or more areas of the anatomical assembly for annotation.
9 . One or more hardware storage devices having stored thereon computer executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computer system, cause the computer system to provide information about a medical condition based on user input, including at least the following:
presenting a user with an anatomical assembly representing an anatomical region of the human body, including one or more user-selectable display elements which, when selected, indicate one or more an areas in the anatomical assembly representing areas in which a medical symptom is experienced in the human body; receiving user input selecting one or more of the user-selectable elements of the anatomical assembly; presenting the user with a selection of one or more medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly, wherein the one or more medical conditions are medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly; and presenting the user with information about one or more medical specialists corresponding to one or more of the medical conditions as well as the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly.
10 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 9 , wherein the medical symptom is selected from the group comprising pain experienced in the human body, inflammation, discoloration, and rash.
11 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 9 , wherein the computer system also presents the user with one or more user-selectable interface elements for selecting a severity level.
12 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 9 , wherein the computer system also receives user input selecting one or more of the medical conditions, and presents the user with information about the selected one or more medical conditions.
13 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 12 , wherein the information about the selected one or more medical conditions includes:
one or more graphical images or videos illustrating the one or more medical conditions; and a textual description of the one or more medical conditions.
14 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 13 , wherein the information about the selected one or more medical conditions also includes information about procedures for treating the one or more medical conditions.
15 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 9 , wherein the computer system also rotates the anatomical assembly in response to user input, to provide a 360 degree view of the anatomical assembly.
16 . The one or more hardware storage devices of claim 9 , wherein the computer system also presents one or more user-selectable annotation options for selecting one or more areas of the anatomical assembly for annotation.
17 . A computer system, comprising:
one or more hardware processors; and one or more hardware storage devices having stored thereon computer executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computer system to perform at least the following:
present a user with an anatomical assembly representing an anatomical region of the human body, including one or more user-selectable display elements which, when selected, indicate one or more an areas in the anatomical assembly representing areas in which a medical symptom is experienced in the human body;
receive user input selecting one or more of the user-selectable elements of the anatomical assembly;
present the user with a selection of one or more medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly, wherein the one or more medical conditions are medical conditions corresponding to the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly; and
present the user with information about one or more medical specialists corresponding to one or more of the medical conditions as well as the one or more selected elements of the anatomical assembly.
18 . The computer system of claim 17 , wherein the medical symptom is selected from the group comprising pain experienced in the human body, inflammation, discoloration, and rash.
19 . The computer system of claim 17 , wherein the computer system also receives user input selecting one or more of the medical conditions, and presents the user with information about the selected one or more medical conditions.
20 . The computer system of claim 17 , wherein the computer system also presents one or more user-selectable annotation options for selecting one or more areas of the anatomical assembly for annotation.Cited by (0)
