Top mount adjustable cabinet mounted frame
Abstract
A container assembly for recyclable materials mounted within a cabinet for movement between an extended position in which the open tops of the bins or containers are exposed for receiving recyclable materials and a retracted position in which the bins are concealed. The container assembly is supported for movement between its extended and retracted positions by a pair of drawer slide assemblies with supporting cross-member brackets being connected to the slide assemblies. The slide assemblies are mounted adjacent to a top of the cabinet. The slide assemblies interengage with brackets on which a door can be mounted for adjustment to accurately fit the opening in the front wall to form a closure for the cabinet in which the container assembly is mounted.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . An adjustable top mounted frame for controlling an orientation of a cabinet door of a cabinet within which the frame is mounted, said adjustable top mounted frame comprising
a cabinet member frame for securing to the cabinet, a drawer member frame for securing to the cabinet door, said drawer member frame being slidably mounted on said cabinet member frame, said cabinet member frame including two spaced apart parallel slide assemblies interconnected by a rear mounting bracket and a front mounting bracket, said rear mounting bracket having two spaced apart, intermediary adjustment points for independently elevating or lowering the rear mounting bracket and thereby adjusting a positioning in all planes of the cabinet door on the drawer member frame.
2 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two brackets support the rear mounting bracket at the two adjustment points.
3 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a screw of each of the two brackets independently adjusts the rear mounting bracket.
4 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the front mounting bracket includes a laterally extending slot for receiving a shaft of a screw to center the front mounting bracket in the cabinet.
5 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the slot is part of a keyhole opening.
6 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the two brackets are jog bend brackets having two parallel vertically extending portions and a horizontally extending perpendicular portion interconnecting the two parallel vertically extending portions.
7 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rear mounting bracket is U-shaped and has a flange at a lower edge and a flange at an upper edge of a vertically extending portion.
8 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 7 , wherein two legs of the U-shaped rear mounting bracket are connected to a rear end of the two slide assemblies.
9 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the front mounting bracket is secured to the two slide assemblies at a forward end thereof.
10 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the screw of the two brackets extends vertically.
11 . An adjustable top mounted frame for controlling an orientation of a cabinet door of a cabinet within which the frame is mounted, said adjustable top mounted frame comprising
a cabinet member frame for securing to the cabinet, a drawer member frame for securing to the cabinet door, said drawer member frame being slidably mounted on said cabinet member frame, said cabinet member frame including two spaced apart parallel slide assemblies interconnected by a rear mounting bracket and a front mounting bracket, said front mounting bracket being fixed in position and said rear mounting bracket being adjustably positioned at two spaced apart adjustment points for independently elevating or lowering the rear mounting bracket and thereby adjusting a positioning in all planes of the cabinet door on the drawer member frame.
12 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 11 , wherein two brackets support the rear mounting bracket at the two adjustment points.
13 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the rear mounting bracket is U-shaped and having a flange at a lower edge and a flange at an upper edge of a vertically extending portion.
14 . The adjustable top mounted frame as claimed in claim 13 , wherein two legs of the U-shaped rear mounting bracket are connected to a rear end of the two slide assemblies.Cited by (0)
